Time to speculate the next update's cars.

Given that the Forza.net post about Dia de los Muertos teases that the "biggest and most muscular cars from American automotive history" would be the main theme of Update 24, I'd guess the following would be possible additions:

Reminder: This is just a set of PERSONAL speculations, so, do not take this as clickbait or a leak.
At least one of these American classic cars (1950s-1970s), potentially from the following
  • 1949 Mercury Coupe (Recycled from FH4)
  • 1957 Ford Thunderbird (FM4 Returnee)
  • 1959 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible (Recycled from FH4)
  • 1961 DeBerti Designs Ford Econoline (New to Forza)
  • 1962 Lincoln Continental (New to Horizon)
  • 1964 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt (New to Horizon)
  • 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS (Recycled from FH4)
  • 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 (Recycled from FH4)

  • 1971 Plymouth GTX (Returnee from FM7)
  • 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner GTX (New to Forza; personal speculation)
  • 1978 Ford Mustang II King Cobra (Recycled from FH3)

At least one of these retro American cars (1980s-2000s), based on past leaks and recycled content
  • 1986 Dodge Shelby Omni GLHS (New to Horizon)
  • 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z (Recycled from FH4)
  • 1991 Ford Thunderbird SC (New to Forza; leaked iirc)
  • 1990 Chevrolet Silverado 4X4 2500 (Spotted in FH5 audio recording; personal speculation)
  • 1991 Chevrolet Silverado SS 454 (Personal speculation)
  • 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R (Recycled from FH3)
  • 1996 Dodge Stealth Turbo (New to Horizon)

And at least one of these modern American Cars (2010-present) based on past leaks and past content as well as some personal guesses assuming that the trend of adding at least 1 2019+ car is still persistent.
  • 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt SS (New to Horizon)

Would they say "cars" if they were intending to give us trucks? I'm not so sure....
On the other hand, a bunch of your ideas are pretty small and don't really fit the tagline.

I think we'll get 1-2 of those enormous land yachts, such as the Lincoln Continental or the Cadillac 60 Special. All depending on which are able to be licensed.
Then I think we'll get one big and stupidly powerful modern car such as the Hellcat Redeye or Demon 170. Or more likely something powered up from Hennessy again?

I think for the final offering we should get an SUV of some kind, ideally one with a massive engine. Do any tuning shops make 1000+ hp Escalades? Or 1500hp Hummers?

Some really nice cars in there bud. I'd happily see the majority of them in game 👍

Knocking out this weeks playlist today as I will be busy with EA WRC for the rest of the week, Just had to say how much I enjoyed sliding my Escort MK2 RS1800 around the EK Balam RX Eventlab.

You can't beat a classic Escort for some rallying fun

With all of the talk about leaks and so on, it'd be interesting to see if some of the cars that don't get mentioned show up, like the Saleen S302 or the Plymouth Savoy. FH5 has already pulled a few things out of that particular pool of American cars (Magnum, SVO, SVT Lightning, Toronado), so maybe we'll get some more long-planned cars.

I would like to speculate from a slightly different approach than everyone else.
At least since FH4, a force of users has emerged on the official forums and reddit, demanding the addition of a classic American pickup to the Forza series.
And their enthusiasm was "slightly"rewarded with an update a while ago.

In FH5, PGG tends to try to fulfill user requests, both in good and bad ways.
And given that the theme of the next update is American cars, there may be a possibility that the models they want will be added again.

In particular, the Chevy SS454 and Ram SRT-10 are popular models among the pickups they request, and the Ram SRT-10's engine has a displacement of 8300cc, which is one of the largest among American cars.

The two highest requested US cars are the Dark Horse and the TRX, so fingers crossed at least one of them shows up, as either would be the perfect update star car :D

And I’m sure we’re getting the Terminator Cobra and the Lucid, so overall this should be a pretty solid update all things considered, not long left now to find it all out :)

Here's what I think we're probably going to get this update

Ford Mustang Terminator
Deberti Econoline
Saleen S7 LM
RAM TRX Concept (The one from FH4)
Lucid Air (Maybe the Sapphire)
Corvette Z06

Wildcard guess: Challenger Demon 170

I would also add that they might even throw in another mini car pack with 4 additional cars that are new to horizon. So theres that

The previous car pack was only 3 weeks ago. Seems a bit early for a new one unless they are going to bring them out once a month (which I highly doubt).

Managed to complete 40 points on Saturday night, after everyone went to bed... I'm now back down to about 20 cars missing, of which 2 are in next week's 20 and 40 point slots. Most of the others were either from early on when the new cars needed 40 points, or from the "doldrums period" (Donut part 1 and around then).

Now I've got the Rally DLC events open in the weekly playlist, I can be a bit more choosy and avoid the stuff I detest (seasonal playground and off-road championships for two!).
I keep missing a week playing other games and have to go in and buy the last car from the auction house.

I agree, but with the way they are now being outside of the deluxe edition of the game, I cant see it happening. The last 3 caused enough backlash
Did they?

I wonder how many sales those packs made given the huge player base. Probably way more than you might think…

Really? The game is two years old now and has added new cars the whole time. I gladly bought all the car packs.
Oh no so did I. I mightve just seen the loud minority tbf but most of the things ive seen about the car packs are complaining about why they couldnt have been free or included in whatever the deluxe edition is called now

Honestly I dont even care if they release another charged car pack for the American automotive season playlist. I'll gladly pay for it because just about every car or dlc added I have not been disappointed, they are adding some great vehicles to this game for reasonable prices. Not complaining about $5-10 every couple months for nice cars. Not to mention all the freebies that have been added too.

You've probably seen the loud, entitled minority that think because they paid top dollar that should get everything beyond what was stated as included. They are slowly being silenced by those of us that read and understand what was included and what wasn't.

The rims are definitely Sapphire, not the basic variant. And it has the flared wheel arches required by the Sapphire for the wider tyres. Definitely no doubt.
