Well, its a blast... Thats the least I can say. I started out with the Pontiac Solstice (surprise?) and started kicking-ass as soon as possible. I absolutely love the new physics in the game, as there seems to be a pretty progressive slide to each of the cars in the game. After quickly painting my Solstice purple (like the early prototypes), equipping it with some cheap performance parts, I have it performing how I like on the higher end of the D-class.
...I like the slower cars a lot better than the really fast ones, so I'm sticking B-class and under for now...
I just bought an Astra VXR as well, and that is (thus far) the only FWD car I really "like" in the game. The car has been a helluva lot of fun on the track, and I've actually been able to pull off some surprising crap with the car.
...But, sadly, I've got to be off to work. I'm hoping some of the GTP folks will be racing later tonight, as I've yet to try the on line portion of the game...

YSSMAN, what's your Gamertag? I would have thought you would have started with the Corrado 
As for physics with the wheel - the braking is MUCH improved over the demo, the upgrades make real changes to the car behaviour, and watching Forza TV feeds of the tournaments in action is damn fun, and I still haven't seen a full 8 player round too.

Has it really been improved (not the season, but the actual size, surface, and "feeling" of the track)?

Some of the scenery looks different and it's a little less bumpy near the end, but apart from that it's not too different. Oh yeah the start finish line is on the long straight instead of where it is in gt4.

Started in America, with the Solstice, which is now a special color (odd to describe). Immediately checked out the engine swaps and it can use the GXP motor (2.0 Turbo) and the LS7 (Z06 V8 - 505hp). Once I get a little further where I have more money than I care about I'll put the LS7 in and super/twinturbocharge it. It'll be interesting. 
I've also got a '69 Charger, '69 Camaro Z28, '68 GT-500KR, Porsche 916/4 (is that right?), V6 Clio, Wings West Civic Si, Lancia Delta, and a Border MR-2 T-bar.
I'm a little disappointed how they seem to have many of the same prize cars as Forza 1, at least at the Proving Grounds. My Solstice has been gutted (stage 2) and a better intake, which was needed to keep up with the other cars in the American races. The Delta was fast enough to easily beat the Audi S4 in the AWD races, but I had trouble using the Clio to tackle the MR events.
After intake, exhaust, and completely gutting it (-730+lbs!) I was able to get it to kill those pesky VX220s. It really took that much to barely beat their acceleration.
They did a really good job changing the sounds when you modify the car. The Solstice had a better tone with the intake, and the Clio sounded amazing with the race intake and exhaust. I can't wait to hear how some of the muscle cars sound with a freed up exhaust.

Funny thing, its YSSMAN too. I use it for almost everything.
...I was so very tempted to use Europe as my home-turf, but I ended up passing on it, because I wanted my Muscle Cars and sports cars more often.

As of now I am a level 7. I started out in North America with the 1998 eagle talon (white) stock except for the complete weight reduction kit. The cars I still have are the 1969 chevy camaro z/28 (blue w/ black stripes) stock, slightly modified lancia delta (crazy awesome paintjob by me
) and the 2004 wings west civic stock. I had alot of other cars but I sold them or auctioned them off.

There was one in the 1st one. They took out the huge test track too.....WTF? Why would they do that. That was were I spent alot of my time was at the drag strip and the 4 mile test track. I'm really pissed now.

So, what's the prize cars like? Do we get Prize cars just like in FM1? (as in every race series you win?) Do these Prize cars change based on your region? As in if you're in japan, and u win the RWD series, do you get a Japanese car only or the same for every region? Is leveling up the same as FM1, with overall credits?
