Heh, just asked the local Game Station whether they happen to be selling Forza Motorsport 2 early, and the stern reply was: "The game doesn't exist. No one has it."

That must be the most rude reply he could have said. I stared at him for a couple of seconds, said "Thanks", and walked out. I wasn't bothered to argue due to his rudeness. Either he misinterpreted what I said, or was an idiot who doesn't know a thing.

Despite this, it's good to see you guys are having a great time. 👍

He should have a look on Ebay. There has been 5 UK PAL promotional copies of Forza 2 on their this week. Luckily I got one but it cost me £55 including next day delivery (should be tomorrow!). I bought it from a guy at Mixmag who recieved it to review.

Blargh. No one cares about my car... :(

I think that I'm gonna make a Photomode gallery eventually. :D

Actually, I love the 427 paintjob.

Edit: I bought a 2007 GT500 from the auction house yesterday. R8man wasn't joking when he said his understeers more than any cars he's driven. I'm trying to use it through the heavyweight races at the proving grounds (now that's embarassing for Shelby...) but even with the widest tire upgrade and the Forza bumpers I haven't been able to edge out the Ferrari 612 for the win. I may just have to put some DOT slicks on it.

One thing i have to say about this game is that the A.I. is really good in my opinion, i like how when i crash, and theres no where the A.I. can go to avoid hitting me, they'll stop completely just to avoid hitting me.

Yeah, I was just thinking how good they were today. The developers must have meant they were very mature teenagers. In the Integra race, I was dead even and on the inside of the other car on the front straight at Maple Valley. It actually backed off and got in line with me to enter the turn.

Actually, I think they get aggressive if you are aggressive to them. I tried to block out a car from passing me later on they did the same thing to me.

Messed around with the editor for a few minutes. It's kinda cool.

Just got my copy in the post nice & early. Problem is I've got to work until 4pm. Oh well.

Yeh it's the full game. It's what they send out to magazine companies to use for their reviews.

Id ask you how you got it but I already ordered a normal copy from play.com. Damnit I think i'm just going to go to live at Keeno_UK's house seeing as he has a copy as well.

God damnit I have to wait untill next week friday.

Take a look on Ebay. I have seen 4 copies sell this week with the most expensive going for £75. They are not listed as promotional copies so you have to troll through all the listings. I paid £55 which included next day postage.

If you have pre-ordered I would expect you to recieve your copy two days before.

You should have shown them my gamercard. Anyway I've just reached level 46, while getting all the cars from Spain as well. Anyway before you finish reading this, I would like to say I am running a Photo Shoot online starting at 7:30pm GMT UK time, so if you want to partake in this, please let me know.

Does anyone know, is the Limited Edition version of the game releasing on the same day as the regular version?

Just won my first Unicorn car auction, which is the Lotus Exige Exspoionage. However the amount I paid was 1,255,000 credits.

I would like to know what people think of the game now that you have played a couple of levels and got into the game... mine is on its way .... how are the graphics? Pyhiscs ? is it good playing with the controler? and the most important thing what do you guys think of the AI , the demo was pretty easy is the actual game challenging? I see that TVR got up to level 45 in a week and there are only 50 levels which isn't a good sign ..........

I have had the game for 2 weeks not one week, anyway I was talking to someone at work about me being at that level, and he went aren't you going a bit too fast, but I replied back with "No.”

But with me at level 46 now, my challenge is to get 43 out of 44 achievements by this Friday or a day before this Friday.

even 2 weeks is a short period :indiff:

You need to keep in mind that TVR&FF probably plays the game much more than the average person. I remember one time he told me he had played TDU for 22 hours straight.

It's easy to level up though. It goes by how many credits you have won. I've had the game since Wednesday and I'm at level 26 already.

If I rather be playing a type of game for a long time, then it would be a racing game or driving game. However I did not play it completely for 22 hours more like 5 or 7 hours.

But I did stay up for 22 hours on the day I was playing TDU for 5 or 7 hours. Anyway the main reason why I have got up to this level pretty quick is it is the only game I have mainly been playing for the past two weeks and I have these options turned off:

*ABS Off
*Traction Control Off
*Stability Management Off
*Suggested Line Off
*Full Simulation for damage, tyres and fuels

AI ranged for Medium to Hard for me, and easy for endurance and races where I let the AI drives for me at times.

The game seems like a mix of GT4 and Pro Race Driver to me.

-Graphics: They're pretty good but could be better.
-Physics: Some of the cars handle differently than I thought they would, but I can't see anything major. It seems more difficult than GT4, but that's maybe because I usually always had TCS on at least 1. In Forza, it's either on or off.
-Controls: It took me a while to get used to them, since I was used to the d-pad and thumb for the brake and accelerator in GT3+4. While I'm not as fast as in GT, the triggers provide some good sensitivity for braking and accelerating. The shifter buttons could be a little better placed, but the controller works well with this game.
-AI: I think the difficulty, like in GT, depends on what car you are racing with. I usually keep the AI on medium, since I'm still learning the tracks and I am not an expert.

As for the game length, there are plenty of races including 10 endurances. It reminds me of GT except without the rally. And the events usually only have a couple races under them, so there are no 10 race series events. There are plenty of different cars to have fun with, but for me I would have liked to see some slower cars and more low HP races. The high HP cars are pretty scary.
