i remember the corvette races in FM1. i ended up trying like 20 times to beat the lingenfelter with the gold guldstrand corvette. i even let my drivatar have a go, but he always left his braking late at brooklands on silverstone club and messed it up
i did eventually win of course.
i'll never forget the condition my forza 1 disk was in when i'd finished with the game. i could never load new york or mple valley. in fact, when in track selection, it would always freeze at maple valley!
i don't see why for modern games, all disks are scratch-proof. but then again, the game companies get more sales when someone has to buy a new copy of the game because it got chewed up and badly scratched by their 360.
scratched disks = more sales = more money for game companies i suppose.
