If that's true I think Turn 10 just sold the game to every car enthusiast in Australia.

It's probably wrong that I couldn't care less about the inclusion of the Reventon yet the fact that it has a 1993 Ford Mustang interests me greatly.
I really like the styling of the late model fox bodies. Plus, cheap V8s are not really available too easily early in a Forza career in the previous games so hopefully it gives us some choices for starter cars rather than hot hatches etc.

'Twas a joke, but in all honesty I'm really surprised that the Fox Body ended up in a game. If I recall this is the first game to have one?

No worries, I loves me some old-school American pony cars. As far as I can recall, the last time I remember seeing a Fox Body in anything was probably GT2. Even then, that may have been a stretch. Its been a long, long time since I've popped that one in the PS2.

GT2 had SN95's but no fox bodies, this is a first

I'm not suprised at all, it's a very highly requested car on the FM.net forums, infact I would say the highest requested car

Not quite, V8 Supercars are "meh" IMO :)

Both sides are making it hard, I want both so much.

I also like the fact that they have an unpainted A4 Touring Car, hopefully they have more "naked" race cars.

(Naked as in no liveries so you can make your own)

Wow I like the drifting feature, hitting down on the D-pad to switch from stopwatch to drift scoring, and they have literally lifted the system from PGR by the sounds of it. Good stuff.

All race cars are paintable this time so you could make it a "naked" car yourself.

One more reason to try to get this as soon as I can. I mean, all those mega-artists now can paint on RACE CARS! How cool is that? Is like having your own racing team now.

Good feature but I don't want to race with people who decide they just rather drift around the course instead of racing which does nothing but create chaos.

Why does his drifting only require left and right daps of steering and not actual counter steering lock like real life (or other games)? That does not look good for their physics or control engine.

Maybe the game doesn't support 900* steering yet? It is a good question though.

What are you talking about  You can quite clearly see opposite lock throughout the video. EDIT: I tell a lie, it's actually a bit difficult to see thanks to the cameraman. He doesn't lock it up on the first corner, he was building up speed and in the second he feints, then he begins to drift...
..What I am concerned bout though is the extreme level of angle displayed there - I don't know what he's driving on what kind of tyres or how much power it has, but that's pretty ridiculous. Then again he is renowned drifter in their community IIRC.

...and what are you playing at anyway, acting as if Forza's phsyics are inferior to Prologues? you know that's far from true, maybe you should tone down the ever so slightly present fanboyism just a notch.

He countersteers then straightens then counters and straightens rinse and repeat, no smooth countersteering. On that video it's the same way you drift with a D pad controller or even a anolgue stick, tap tap tap.

Calm down, I commented on Forza I never mentioned GT at all. So if it doesn't look right to me and I comment I am showing "Fanboyism" :indiff:

Chill man, he was just asking a question.

EDIT: On that video. I agree with you Jay, looks almost like drifting in GT3. I didn't say anything fanboyish now, did I? :nervous:

So anyone know if Microsoft is going to finally allow compatibility with the G25/G27 wheels? If they are, this game is a day-one purchase for me, I've gotten so used to racing with a wheel, and I don't really want to go out and buy a wheel just for the 360 when I've got a perfectly good G25 already.

it's not about microsoft. It's about logitech... and no, G27 will not be compatible. At least in your launch, since the Box in the reviews only show PC/PS3.

Well, can't say I'm too happy about that. I really would love to try this game with a wheel, outside of the the Microsoft branded wheel, the only other compatible wheel is the Fanatec one, correct?

Microsoft has not said anything that would suggest that the G25 or any newer similar Logitech wheel will work with the Xbox 360.

For the last time G25 is a HID wheel... Xbox 360 use a XID interface... How on earth do you calculate the G25 could be made Xbox 360 compatible

it has been established several decades ago that the G25 will never ever ever be converted to be able to run on the Xbox 360. Logitech wasn´t allowed to use force feedback for the drive FX. So MS is at least partly to blame I am sure. I mean they have their own MS ffb wheel they want to crank. Thus it´s better to partner with Fanatec which can´t produce that many wheels and are priced out of reach for the average joe.

Cheapest solution would be the Turbo S pure and use your G25 pedals on it. Works with PS 3 as well though you will have to buy some adapters as well. Though the CSP pedals are a LOT better. And the G25 pedals is really good already.
