He's mad because the stuff isn't in the nice pretty boxes at the forza website. Apparently Turn 10 is behind...probably because they are preparing for a GAME launch next week ;)

I'm sorry to say that the cars still move the same way they did in Forza 2 and 3- they glide on the road instead of the tires gripping the pavement especially around corners. Still lacking the sense of weight or believable body roll. Look at the replay in GT5 - it's not perfect by any means but much closer to real life.

This isn't meant as put down- a lot of gamers won't notice or care about such thing- but it's the reason why I prefer GT and feel that Forza still have some work to do.

Am I the only one that thinks the collisions sounds like explosions?

I guess I need to see replays from both side-by-side because I don't see it and I really would like to see what you are talking about.

I kind of agree that in replay video's the amount of bodyroll etc is better then FM3, but not as good as some GT5 replays..

But then I rarely watch a replay..

Here's a slightly better EVO vid, I'd assume american muscle cars would be much better..

Yes, I know 'bowling' is lame.. but might as well give someone some 'And you call it a sim' ammo ;)

Nope, not seeing that at all here. They indeed look planted finally. Huge improvement from FM3.

NA
Bogie 19th,
STOP! JUST STOP!
You're scarring me.......

Not that kind of scary.

Scary as in, there exists a person that wakes up on the morning, defends a videogame all day and then goes bed. Then repeats this over and over.

I sound like I'm making fun of him, but im not. I genuinly think he may have a problem and I find it uncomfortable seeing that happen to people.

Don't be so hard on yourself. We still like you for who you are.

I've noticed that too. You can also see stiffer cars get twitchy and reactive to the road surface. I love that. :)

Indeed. I don't even have to look at these videos to tell that! I just have been playing the damn game right here in front of me to determine that ;)

No, just no.

The only cars that will do that in FM4 is the old classics because it's what they really do.

Newer sports cars are firmly planted unless you're going too fast or trying to get them loose.

And I think that if you really thought that, you wouldn't be posting the last three remarks about/to him, so yeah, there's a problem here, but not the one you're trying to make it out to be.

New real world tracks are Indianapolis USA, Hockenheim, Top Gear, and 2 others...

Are these 2 others tracks spoilers? I hope I will get at least one suprise when I get the game. After all cars are revealed, there is nearly no more suprise to find when you start the game...

EDIT: Just like PD focused on Japanese cars, seems like T10 mostly focused on US tracks, just like IGN also wrote. We need an European game developer who makes an game with focus on EU cars/tracks :)

We did, they are called "Codemasters" and they made GRID.

So, is this the final track list? 21 different locations?

Hmm I expected a few new real life tracks. What is new now? Hockenheim and Top Gear?

I do not believe that is the complete list, no, but I had that page open in another window at the time, so I linked it. It had a few of the new and old real world tracks, so I thought it might help awnser your question.
If there's a complete list, mabey somebody else can chime in, but I don't go out of my way to find full car/track lists. Some surprises are always nice.
I also couldn't say for sure, but I think Infineon, Hockenheim, Top Gear, and Indinapolis speedway are all new, unless I'm just forgetting one I haven't raced on recently. :dunce:
Anyway, sorry, I should have mentioned I didn't think it was complete at the time.

Edit: lol, treed. Spent too much time thinking about it....

Ok I mean a game like GT/FM with ambitions on sim physics :)

Shift 2 is outstanding, cars and tracks wise... Unfortunately the physics are the most horrible thing in the genre :(

Now that you mention, it was Technically EA and Slightly Mad Studios.

Japanese Tracks: 3

American Tracks: 3

European Tracks: 11

The grid on the tracks page is 8x4.
Why would they make the fourth row?
There should be at least 25 locations.

Makes sense! I thought all tracks are already revealed and a lot of people have FM4 already, I have not heared anything about new tracks, so I thought thats it...

👍 Thats how I like it :sly:

Eh, as long as the tracks are good, I don't care where they are located...

Then again... Some of the best tracks are European (in my opinion), so, yeah :D
