Give me a realistic representation of the Nordschleife, Mount Panorama Circuit / Bathurst and a track like Fujimi Kaido, and I'd be set, I think. Too bad I'm not gonna get this any time soon.

An English country road track with tight lanes and adverse camber would be epic - the sort of roads I drive on for fun. :)

No photoshop!

Glad to see you like my photo. Plenty more on my Flickr page, but I see there's others here also shown.

Australian: 1 Bathurst Mount Panorama.

Shift2 Track List = Bestest on a console...someone needs to copy them

http://www.forzacentral.com/forum/s...ft-2-unleashed-master-car-track-list-dlc.html

Your right about that... and a cool car selection too...
Too bad about the recently discovered physics and tunning bugs that seem to be ruining the handling of the cars on all platforms... although there is an unofficial comunity patch for PC to fix them...

And too bad the Ps3 version is completly /&%&% from imput lag to physics and tunning bugs to the freezing issues...

Really a big shame because its got the best track list ever...

Then again... Some of the best tracks are European (in my opinion), so, yeah :D

+1

There are great tracks all over the world, but the biggest concentration of iconic, historic and interesting tracks are in Europe in my opinion.

Spa, Zolder, Brno, Monza, Imola, Fiorano, Mugello, Nurburgring, Hockenheim, Oschersleben, Red Bull Ring, Paul Ricard, Catalunya, Estoril, Portimao, Brands Hatch, Donington, Silverstone, Zandvoort, Monaco........just to name a few. :D

Maybe for you, but I prefer equal representation from all three continents. Its abit annoying No developer does this:indiff:

True, but you've gotta think. It's quite a bit more expensive for developers to visit and photograph/measure tracks outside of the country they're based in.

So even if a developer would love to include an equal share of foreign tracks, it may not be feasible within their budget to do so. This can apply to cars as well, to an extent.

Am I the only one that thinks the collisions sounds like explosions?

I guess I need to see replays from both side-by-side because I don't see it and I really would like to see what you are talking about.

Here's a good video showing how cars in GT5 display not only sense of weight and body roll but also tires gripping the pavement as it goes around a corner. Compare that to how the cars in Forza 3 or 4 move:

While part of it is the driving style but for me, it's also indicative of GT's physics and graphic engines. Like I say more power to those who can't tell the difference between this (and real life) and Forza 3 or 4 but for me it's night and day.

this. forza is fun but arcade compared to other sims.

Shouldnt these be in the FM vs GT5 thread?

If you want body roll load up the demo and try the race with the Cougar Eliminator.

You cannot even say they haven't implemented it because that is just not true.

Offtopic: I have just found that switching 360's HDMI Color Space to YCbCr709 makes Forza's colors less "acid" and more realistic.

Nice. Thanks for the tip. I will try that right now. I believe I had it set on Auto.

While I am not on the same page as you for the best concentration of iconic tracks, I must say, I love Zandvoort. OMG, favorite track to race in RacePro 09.

Yeah, GT5 does do a good job of that. FM4 does it just as well, which is sweet. Big improvement over FM3.

Its too bad GT5s dev time went into ensuring every car body rolled correctly and not in to making the SP mode fun.

There is one thing about FM3 replays. They are somewhat laggy, "low resolution" and should not be taken too seriously in regard to body roll etc.

And you would know that how?

Anyway, I'm to excited for Forza 4 to be released. Still 8 days till release!
Although, EB Games sometimes releases games early by about 1-2 days...

And you would know that how?

By playing the game and seeing it isn't fun, maybe? The driving's fun, but the annoying level grind and the lack of single-player events isn't.

That said, I'm not exactly thrilled with Forza 4's approach of giving stuff to the player like it's candy. Makes credits kinda useless, and I'd still like some semblance of having to earn stuff. If they're gonna make upgrades essentially free, then they at least should've reduced or eliminated the practice of giving out gift cars. Let players use their earned credits to buy the rewards that they want.

That is sweet, quick question with tracks like that does FM4 have an option where we can use our headlight?

No. You get set times in the day for various tracks. I decreased the brightness in this photo for dramatic effect.

But in-game, it looks absolutely stunning. You will crash from simply looking at the scenery.

So you think that by playing a game, I'll come up with this statement?

Anyway.

What track is that?
