You can decide for yourself. For me the answer is yes but for someone else they may not be.

2011 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge
2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera
2010 Noble M600
2011 RUF Rt 12 R

My first LCE do I buy these from the dealer or are they in my garage?

I also ordered the LCE, from gamestop. Have a question though. When/how do I buy the season pass?

I think they will offer it to you when you pick it up. I know when I picked up GOW3, they offered it to me.

I bought 2400 MS points to get the season pass on release day. I'll be able to buy it on the marketplace with those points, right? I won't have to buy a code in person with $30?

Yup. Season Pass should be available at launch. Make sure you get it the first week and you get 250,000 cr. added to your profile.

Thanks for the response. I hope they do offer it to me, lol. I can't remember if I was offered it when I picked up GOW3 on release day.

How many people plan on playing it with kinect?

Just watched this:

I simply cannot understand why they cannot get the gearbox correct. It's the same story for other DSG gearboxes like the 458 and the GT-R. The shift speed is not remotely accurate. What is so hard about making a seemless shift? Hell on GT-R (the racing sim, not the car) it was easy as plugging in a different value for the transmission data. Why can't turn 10 get this correct?

I didn't think you had to go that fast for the wing to come up in the Veyron. I kept waiting and waiting thinking OH NO.... it's not coming up... Then finally it comes up. Yay!

If you could activate the top speed mode, the wing wouldn't be up at all (or maybe only a lesser angle?).

If you happen to live near the Canadian border (and have a friend here), seems Best Buy has plenty of stock. I just had my order finalized today and there's no problems with the LCE stock - I even asked when I called to make sure. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any stores that will be carrying it on-hand, it's only available online. Slightly annoying, since even with expedited delivery, the site says I won't get it until at least a day after release. Racing games just don't seem to sell in large quantities in Southern Ontario; my local Gamestop had me as the only CE pre-order for GT5

In semi-related news, had the lady sit down with the FM4 demo, and specifically the Rivals traffic races. Since she's getting hooked on Top Gear pretty heavily the past month, she's actually tempted to pick up a 360 too :D

In Germany, Amazon will mostly send out the game two days before release, because they calculate those two days for normal shipping by mail. A delivery takes normally just one day, regardless of where you live, so the chance is big that some have it at the 13th oct.

So, we dont have this "on release delivery", because they do it automatically. The smaller online shops even send it out 3-4 days earlier in some cases.

My copy will eventually spin in my box at tuesday. Cant wait!

Yeah, after being caught up in the BestBuy screw up, I was able to pre-order at Toys r' Us, and they're showing on hold with a ship date of the 8th currently (today as of 3 hours and 45 minutes ago). I'm not sure if the Columbus Day holiday will get in the way, but it looks possible for a day early for me as well. No launch bonus probably, but at least i'm not getting shafted out of the LCE.

Thanks for info!

That's pretty funny. It's going to be a allot harder to gauge when to shift with that thing. Nevermind. Car only has 1 gear :dunce:
