Jalopnik's First Drive Review

http://jalopnik.com/5847234/forza-motorsport-4-first-drive

They also have a CSR setup, sadly, they didn't talk about it too much.

I LMAO at this part.

"Now substitute "Forza 4" for "Sally" — and it'll sum up exactly how I feel about this game. It's too realistic. It's too amazing. It's too likely I'll pick up the controller and find myself setting it down four days from now blinking blindly at the TV, stained underwear and puddled drool at my feet. I'm scared to play it because I feel like I might never wake up from the digital racetrack."

The general impression I'm getting from reviews is 'fun' and if you can't make a driving game fun, then simply don't bother. :)

You know, I'm all for good reviews. And after seeing those of various games sides being rather good for FM4, it's not like the Jalopnik article is miles off. However, if there's one site in the univers that's biased towards Forza, it's Jalopnik.

Giantbomb guys have a quick look up with Forza, 42 minutes of it. Word of warning, they are NOT anywhere near hardcore drivers, they are just going through the game. Enjoy.

True about Jalopnik, but at least they're honest about their involvement. I'd be biased too if they let me have my own dlc car packs.

Sure, it's not unexpected or like they're trying to hide it. And they're not actually far off with what they'rre saying, compared to unbiased sites.

Just noted that. It's why I usually skip their articles about FM3/4... I want it to suceed in an honest review (which it also does, a lot) :D

ISR review/preview whatever is awesome. They confirm that:

Exhaust sounds do change with upgrades

You can use your own cars/tunes in rivals mode as long as the restrictions allow.

Clubs can have inter club races with other clubs.

and there is more footage of racing, looks like Infineon is BRUTALLY bumpy.

Mention the issue with 900 degree wheels, and the weak AI (though to be frank I still think they are extremely quick racers, the AI in the demo on professional is difficult to win against outright for me)

Their review was excellent. I do like their reviews in general on everything they do. They said the CSR (not the elite) is better than the G27.

I wouldn't read too much into it. It's probably just that you can invite club members into a race, and thus create a club vs. club race. I'm not too sure that there's going to be a feature that supports that specifically.

If you're able to make it into the top 3 (which means overtaking seven or so opponents in two laps), than they are still a bit on the slow side, I think ;)
The AI's good, no doubt about that. Still not as good as Shift 2's, though, in my opinion.

The A.I is technically brilliant.

Unfortunately with all the bitching about the A.I being "too fast" in FM3 t10 made it even easier on it's hardest difficulty...

I always thought it was too slow in FM3. I was under the impression the new 'Professional' difficulty was supposed to be harder than 'Hard' was in FM3.
