I doubt you'll be able to give them the exact same car... I'd assume the AI will have to make do with auto-upgraded stuff.

"Bluntly, you'll not get a more realistic driving game on any console."
That statement is used a lot in advertisement. For example no pain reliever works faster than "X" . Yet that's not saying "X" is actually faster either. In reality the other brands works exactly the same (same active ingredients) but saying that wouldn't make good advertisement.
My favorite one is the new "anti-bacteria" soap. All soap is anti-bacteria since bacteria is what makes us stink.
P.S Too many reviews reads a lot like advertisements to me.

What's the difference between Insidesimracing and Team VVV ?
Is Team VVV better at reviewing driving/racing sims ?

I know that Insidesimracing are playing a lot of sims and they said they sometimes drive real cars on race track.

I personally put almost zero stock into the average game review and give ISR more higher priority along with fans. The problem with game review sites most dont use a wheel nor play online. So they won't notice little things like not allowing players to host races. Fans will though. Additionally, ISR waits at least til a game has been properly patched before giving a review.

Game reviewers will be very impressed by 16 players while those of us that have driven with much more on PC sims will be like :indiff: (think about petit lemans which had like 53 cars alone on Road Atlanta!!!)

More eager to see what you guys think after you get your copies is the bottom line

The funny thing is, besides Shift2 and the new iRacing you would think the PC sims would be more up to par on the eye candy. Its odd, that physics, sound, tracks, cars, can be awesome, yet it still looks so damn old and tired. Just a thought I had...

Thats the truth, even if reviews are stellar doesnt mean you personally will like it. For instance, I thought Oblivion was one of the worst games ever made, but lots of people disagree.

Reviews show the majority opinion, not YOURS.

Odd, I thought it was a great game. Still haven't finished it. That's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG game to try to finish.

Theres a few good looking PC sims like rFactor with the right mod & track (like com8's Laguna Seca + VB Factor for example) or the little known netkar pro. Shift 2 PC in 1080p on my big screen will probably still look way better than FM 4 is my guess. FM 3 falls apart on my plasma (jaggies, etc). That's the main issue I have with console games a few dont scale up too well.... I'm assuming they nipped that issue with FM 4

I'm sure it will be a great game though no question. But still eager to see what everyone's opinions will be. It didnt take long for the community to find S2U's shortcomings (like the car collisions becoming glued together).

quick edit- Oblivion was awesome for me as well I agree with the reviewers. But I never played Morrowind so i might not know any better

I rather had a good frame rate and good physics (tons of mods also) over graphics any day . Shift 2 is a good example of too much focus on eye candy like most console titles. That's a good thing and bad about consoles, they focus heavily on graphics yet it often sacrifice in other areas. NTG 2011 may have better graphics yet I still rather play NR2003.

Yeah thats my point. Many loved it, and the reviewers got all nutty about it. Personally, I couldnt stand it. I understand with high scores, its probably just me being the minoroity. And although it thought it was a hyped POS, I admit the fact I am the oddity.

Shift 2 has awesome graphics and suspension physics but the tire physics are an absolute joke. Mario Kart has a better tire model.

Im not sure bout that. Some claim iRacing's New Tire model in 2.0 feels similar to Shift 2. Havent had a chance to verify this claim myself but it was a long thread at nogripracing, a pretty hardcore pc sim site
