It takes some time. I have had some buddies come over and it's hard for them to grasp. Forza no real big issue with the wheel, but on F1 you have to be consistent and dedicated to the turns. Everything is so fast, I have never sweat playing F3 but playing co-op with a buddy on F1 2011 and a full race weekend I am sweating.

I'm not big mind you, 6 ft and 155 lbs.

Started up demo just now. You have 2 options:

Quick Race and Rivals. Play Career, Community and Autovista are grayed out.

In Rivals you can:

1. Choose rivals by restrictions, change rivals, select a rival
2. Find Rivals in Friends list, Near Me, Top Scores
3. There are certified and uncertified times
4. There are 3 rival track layouts for the Alps: Round the Mountain, Blitz Pass and Alpine Rush.

I only see the Cougar, Subaru and Ferrari in the Quick Race. No Kia C'eed.

In Quick Race you can do FREE LOOK when choosing your car color. The car shine/lighting is flipping crazy good. As for comparing to GT5, it's close, but not sure if it's there yet. Need to look more.

Quick Race gives you access to all the difficulty settings. The race takes place Early Afternoon.

First impression is that it's NOT GT premium quality. If FM3 was a 7 out of 10 for graphics, and GT premiums were 10 out of 10, this would be a 8.5 or 9 I think...so far.

No steering assist....watch out lol!

All of that sounds FANTASTIC. I want Monday now. Bogie, are you playing with a Fanatec by chance? I have a GT2 and I want impressions. :P
 
Nope, my Fanatec broke...back to my MS Wheel. Gonna buy a CSR now. At the moment though, I have my controller out.

The PITS are the same as before btw. No change there at all.

Oh, and the Alps..no way the other game can touch that track for graphics. Top notch for a console.

Smoking the tires is the same as FM3, no improvement there.

Fire coming out of the exhaust of the 458 confirmed ;)

Drastic sound improvement, confirmed ;)

Please to not look at my times on the Rivals board. It should be obvious that I am toying around with the cars and taking my time looking at different things on the track. I think one of my times was like 7 minutes...cuz I am just trying to do different things like flip the cars etc.

So, I flipped a car, and I am in Expert mode. I CANNOT flip it back over.

Just did one quick lap with the Bimmer and beat the recommended Rival by 48 seconds, lol. After you beat their time, you can finish the Rival, or continue to lap.

Bogie- that's a shame. At least you still have wheel use, though. I suppose I'll have to wait until Monday to find out with the GT2. Although, I love FM3 on the wheel, so I'm sure it's drastically better. Everything you're saying about the demo is like music to my ears, I must admit. :D

The FB page is at a stand-still, apart from people leaving harsh complaints about not getting a code. :lol: So I'm just going to hang back.

Not many people playing the game yet. Only about 95-105 people registered in each of the Rival modes. I am number 15 out of 92 for the Alpine Rush.

BTW, just put the wheel on now. Quick Race....physics...yeah, they are much improved. I also love the way the cockpit goes forward and back when braking. Body roll is much more pronounced visual, especially noticeable in the Cougar of course.
 
I know one shouldn't base an entire game off of a demo.....but damn.....this is indeed the best Forza, BY FAR....I can't wait to play the entire game.

I see Zoo already beat my Zonda time by 4 seconds. WEASEL! :)

That last turn is a mother trucker. I am still trying to get that one down.

I'm at around 1:48 right now, I can at least hit 1:44 no problem.

I am jealous that you guys get to play it with a wheel though.

I just have to get through Saturday. Sunday is all day football for me so no problem there. Tomorrow though is college ball so I can watch some of that plus the ALMS action. I think I should be good till the demo drops for us regular folk. I wish I knew the exact time it's coming out though.

EDIT: I almost forgot. I might be able to get NBA 2K12 early from my early spot so that could hold me for tomorrow too. If wife didn't have to work I was going to take her all around. Movies, BRIEF shopping, eats, etc.
