...so is every week going to be the same bleating for Aussie cars, or no?

It's understood: Aussies like Aussie cars. It should also be understood we're just over the halfway mark of the reveal. C'mon, guys; complain after you find out there's none. Not that there will be - there's a couple already in FM5, it's unlikely they've been cut.
Sorry my bad. I will settle down now.

...but... but... I'm North American. From The BX even...

Ugh...

Can we please get the better GSX for once?

What exactly is the difference?

To be fair, Holden are only one company and not that well known outside of Australia and car fanatics so it's probably no wonder they are not that well represented although I do like them.

This week's reveal: -7.8-Too much Fords-IGN

Jokes aside, that was a great reveal. Lime Rock should not be underestimated by its short length and few corners.

It's really shaping up to be the biggest Forza yet, just pure numbers:
1. 26 tracks. FM3 had 24, 2 of them were test tracks, 3 were using the same location - Montserrat. Forza 4 had 26 too, but again 3 of them were using Montserrat as their setting. So in terms of unique tracks Forza 6 is gonna be ahead. Plus night and rain add variety too. Plus potentially we'll see track expansions similar to Forza 5.
2. 450+ cars at launch. Forza 3 had 440 cars at launch, but if you look at the list there's a fair bit of duplicate racing cars, Forza 6 has some too, but I think overall it has more unique models in the roster. Forza 4 has 483 cars without DLC, so it's only slightly ahead.
3. It still feels like this gen is just starting to kick into gear so probably we'll see another one or two FM entries before next xbox is introduced, it's exciting to think how much content the last forza of this gen will have, considering they're already topping the pinnacle of their last gen offerings.

Can't wait. Keep watching the E3 trailer. Great song that fits the game.

I just hope more cars from FM4 get carried over.... I want my altezza back...

Most notable is the front bumper, side skirts, wheels, and the infamous spoiler. I lusted after the GSX and the Integra Type-R in the '90s (there were some serious fanboy wars between these two cars).

What we have:

Versus this:

Maybe there'll be a bodykit for it. If the Bentley Continental can have it's GT3 bodykit, anything's possible.

You would think they would be all over that, but they haven't bothered since they first introduced it in FM1.

Updated models would be nice, but I wouldn't bet on it. The Zonda R is still in its original configuration despite Pagani having added several new aero work.

Well, the Zonda R has yet to be confirmed for FM6. If it is (and I really hope it is), then maybe we could get the Zonda R Revolution

Ah, I'm pleased to see that most of the Fords from FH2 & FM5 are going to be in FM6. Though, I still hope to see a newer Falcon in the game.

It doesn't even have to be the Revolucion or Evolution. The car as it is has been the same since it was first showcased in FM3 (2009) in its original debut configuration.

At Geneva 2009, the car debuted a new spoiler & minor revisions.

The following year, more aerodynamic changes were, most noticeably, the large front intakes.

The Evolution was once again a showcase of aero changes that included a large rear fin, 2 more larger splitters in the front & a tiny spoiler under the main one.

The Revolucion is merely the same sort of updated version, but it's hard to really showcase the differences. I get that the car isn't confirmed yet, but for the sake of if it will be returning, it would be nice to see it updated to at least some spec. post-2010-2012 where most of the large changes were made. The original configuration we've had ever since FM3 just no longer exists in real life.

From yesterdays Week In Review Article: "this week we decided to group together all the remaining Ford cars that will launch on September 15"
http://www.forzamotorsport.net/en-us/news/wir_7_24_15

Uhhhhhh...What about the updated V8 Supercars that Dan talked about? Will there be no Ford V8 Supercar in the game? Im also guessing the 2017 Ford GTE Le Man will be DLC then.

Still 35 Fords though. Pretty impressive. Thanks to Mclaren at Forzacentral for pointing this out

2014 Audi #67 Rotek Racing S3 Saloon

Notable racer and Jalopnik contributor Robb Holland was the first American driver to compete in a full season of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). With the help of Nürburgring-based Rotek Racing, Holland fielded the #67 Audi S3 Saloon in last year’s BTCC. Holland’s goals for the season were humble, given each race would be the first time he had seen many of the BTCC’s race tracks. Holland and Rotek placed in the top twenty more than once, fighting through unfortunate on-track incidents to earn some well-deserved points by the end of the season. For Forza fans, this BTCC racer is ready to relive its track time at Brand’s Hatch, charging forward from any spot on the grid.

2014 Toyota #80 Speedworks Motorsport Avensis

Speedworks Motorsport have seen success in the Ginetta G50 Cup, British GT4 and the British GT Championship, to name a few notable series. The husband-and-wife team of Christian and Amy Dick debuted their first Next Generation Touring car in 2011 and climbed their new car’s steep learning curve. By 2014 the team had doubled in size and taken on promising young Ginetta driver Tom Ingram. A mostly trouble-free 2014 season saw the #80 score points in nine of 12 races, including two top-ten finishes. The Toyota Avensis is a large four-door saloon that isn’t available in North America. In its British Touring Car Championship guise, you can experience what has made the Avensis race car such a success in Europe and Japan.
