Pity the Falcon XB GT didn't make the cut, I enjoy thrashing about in my Mad Max liveried one

Not a massive American muscle car fan but still some decent announcements
To each their own, but their prominence is one of the bigger reasons I prefer Forza to GT

Apologies to mods for the double post. My near 50 year old brain got muddled what with refreshing and going back, etc :ouch:

MG Metro, thank you very much :)

And of course the Ferrari F40 is announced just when I say I'm surprised we haven't seen it yet :P

Really glad a lot of these Horizon 2 cars are coming in, I've wanted to drive them on track, hurry up September :P
I know right? I can't believe the MG Metro 6R4 is actually coming to FM6! I always adore that car from rally, will make sure to get it into my garage. :D

Also agreed about FH2's cars returning in FM6. 👍

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike them and I'm glad they are in the game to spice up the variety of Motors :)

Just not my personal faves but I still look forward to trying them out nonetheless.

The ongoing absence of the Mitsubishi GTO is beginning to worry me. How many weeks are there left for these reveals?

It's probably just broken down a few times en route to the articles. :P

My guess is there's Weeks eight, nine, and ten left. They're unlikely to do an 11th, since that'd be the day before the early access starts: my guess is that would be the F&F pack announcement, which shouldn't count towards the headline 450-car figure, since it won't be on-disc. Even the count in the first post is bloated by the 10 year car pack and Team Forza things, which actually puts the current 394 count at 378. So they've got at least 72 more cars to show, but we've got a few on the list that have only been seen in menus or in races, so I'd say that number is closer to 80-90.

Me either, although I agree they are a good addition to the game but I mostly enjoy beating C Class muscle cars in my RS500 or Cossie. :)

Car list is looking good, I know there will be more cars announced up to launch + DLC but so far is seems to be the best car list on any console game.

IMO, it's still lagging behind the final FM4 tally in a few diverse ways, though the 360 era couldn't have open-wheel cars, so there's that. But by the end of the DLC run, this game will have more cars than FM4 launched with (it could be over 550 if the DLC packs run for a year like Horizon 2). That'll be pretty spectacular, especially with Porsche in the mix again.

The Mercedes AMG GT is now 100% confirmed, we have pics of the Mono, E23 and #9 Dallara DW12, and a bit of a Falcon FG X V8 Supercar yet not announced, since it's not #17 for sure.

I wonder if putting the track there has an indication of the "enduro" aspect of the game.

May be Frosty's car.

Ideally it'll only return when they decide to remodel it as the first-gen model and not the gopping looking mess it later became.

I have no experience with these games so that's news to me. Have all these cars been modeled with Xbox One graphics in mind?

Well, it's the second game of the gen, so it should be compared to FM3, and it easily beats it in every way. 2017 is reserved for Forza 7. 2019 is kind of a wildcard, I could see MS putting out the next Xbox in 2019/20 so Forza 8 as a launch title is not unreasonable to expect. Plus I assume current cars and tracks are future proof and won't be thrown away ever again. Plus under Phil Spencer I don't see them making the same mistake of putting out a weak console.

Hopefully the Falcon XB and the Holden GTS will be back. Fingers crossed for the future announcements for some more Aussie cars.
