Disappointed not to see the Reliant Regal Supervan announced yet.

Don't you dare deny me the chance to take that thing around places like a wet Nurburging Nordschleife.

Seriously when that thing was first announced in Horizon 3 I was like "Can't wait to see it in Forza 7"

But the fact it isn't announced yet concerns me.. Classic and European weeks would have been a good time to do so.

Still the announcements aren't over yet So I wont abandon hope just yet.

My guess is that it's going to be unlocked through a Top Gear event (going by logic) in career mode, a bit like how it was a barnfind in FH3.

Oh man, if there are Gran Turismo style prize cars in career mode events and they are being kept secret I will be so hype again. The Syclone makes sense for a Truck/Suv prize, the three wheeler for a track toys prize. It would make so much sense.

So this list is at around 120ish cars. Since we have 563 confirmed cars already, this + all returning FM6/FH3 Race Vehicles leaves us at around 680, with 20+ cars to make up the 700 total. Now depending on how you look at it, you could take a pessimistic or optimistic view on this.

Pessimistic View
This would have all of the NASCARs updated FM6 (All 24 of them), all 10 Formula E Cars, all 10 Indy Cars too, maybe even some new liveries for already existing race machinery. So no consolidation of the livery counting. Also perhaps some cuts from FM6 (like we got from FM5). Then, the remaining 20-30 cars are made up of;

Forza Edition Cars (Subaru BRZ, M3 E36 etc)
2013 BMW #15 BMW M Performance Parts M3 DTM
1977 Ford #14 Gilmore Racing Team Coyote-Foyt
1989 Mercedes-Benz #63 Team Sauber Mercedes C9

2013 Infiniti #77 Schmidt Peterson Motorsports Dallara IPS Indy Lights
2013 Mazda #7 Andretti Autosport USF2000
2014 Robby Gordon Super Stadium Truck
2014 Volkswagen Tanner Foust GRCC Beetle
1970 Volkswagen Desert Dingo Bug

So we get absolutely no new to Forza race machines (Aside from the updated V8SC, Nascars, Indycars and Formula E) and Turn 10 weren't saving anything for a huge last reveal. The lack of new to forza vehicles throughout all the weeks and reveals was indicating that there basically is very little new to forza content at all.

Optimistic View
This would have all of the Formula E, V8SC, NASCARs and Indycars updated but consolidated a bit, leaving more room for new metal. Forza Edition cars won't be counted/included in this reveal so that leaves even more room for new vehicles. (The WIR actually suggests this might be the case, no mention of FE cars)
Next week will be the final installment of the Forza Garage, and we’ll be focusing on race cars that will be coming to the game. Look for that news on Tuesday

We'd also get some of the FM5/FH2 returns listed above, as well some of these;

Potential New to Forza Cars
5-10 New to Forza Production Cars like in FM6
More FM4 race cars returns
A new racing discipline, though highly unlikey
Additions to the BTCC/WTCC/STCC/Can-Am/Classic F1 roster
2016 BMW M6 GTLM
2016 Ferrari 488 GTE
2016 Ginetta G50 GT4

1976 Chevrolet Dekkon Monza IMSA GTA
2004 Ferrari 550 Maranello GTS GT2
2016 McLaren 650S GT3
2017 Mercedes-AMG GT GT3
2017 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

1983 Nissan Super Silhouette Skyline Group A
1989 Toyota Celica IMSA GTO

So basically T10 were saving all of the best for last essentially, and you believe the hype when Dan G tweeted "wait until we reveal the race cars".

Tbh it could go either way, though the final result will most likely end somewhere up in the middle of both views.

What do you guys think will happen? I'd like to hear some of your predictions!

I saw a number of race cars cars in the Nurb' race at Gamescom.
(I also noticed the Vantage in the first video was a 2014 model, but on the website its listed as a 2013 model, just an observation).
Would also love to see the 2016 488 GT3 and /or GTE.

It seems they are bringing back race cars from FM4 aswell..

I do wish they updated the GT3 and GTE roster like they do with V8 Supercars (and most likely NASCAR and Indycars). I couldn't careless about the models that are a few years old. They're not old enough to have any historical value to them, and they're not new enough to fit properly with any current GT series that anyone would like to run. Considering there are so many series running GT3 cars around the world, you'd imagine it wouldn't be that hard to find a team willing to lend their car to scan.

They need to really consolidate the Indy cars, NASCARs and formula E. Just make the liveries as color options for those cars when you are buying them, how hard can that be. That would free up literally a couple dozen slots for more cars...but realizing this is T10 they won't ever do that. If it makes sense it dosent apply to them...

The 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Desert Dingo Racing Stock Bug is confirmed for Forza Motorsport 7. The 2013 Robby Gordon Stadium Super Truck is also a possibility to be a confirmed vehicle for Forza Motorsport 7.

Between Toyota, ford and Chevy NASCARs in at least forza 6, they make up around 24 cars when in reality it's just 3 cars with different liveries. Then there's 10 formula E when it's different liveries as well and I believe 10 or 20 Indy cars with different liveries. Just consolidation is all I'm suggesting, more space for more cars.

Fully agree with that and it makes much more sense for the painters as well. Then you paint for a single car model instead of having to choose between for example 10 copy/paste cars and only have a 10% chance potential livery clients take the same car as you.

Not to mention you won't reach the garage limit as soon as it is now, I mean the FM6 garage can't even hold all it's cars, for the game there are 623 unique cars possible and the garage limit is 600.... go figure.

Another advantage is the stats, with for example 10 different Formula E copy/paste cars in the game your stats will be spread over these cars as well which isn't as good as having it all combined onto a single model. Same with NASCAR, IndyCar and V8 Supercars and every other copy/paste car from the other racing series.

They have different manufacturer colors from the production cars, there is no excuse to not do the same with racing liveries other than the 700+ bragging rights. Excluding all race car livery copy/pasting and the HE cars counting as cars I think the unique car model count sits more between 600-650 cars, which ofc is still a very impressive number.

Didn't a second manufacturer join Formula E this year? Or is that next year? Either way that gives a good reason to have two or three when a third comes along.

Is there any game ever made that groups race cars together in the car count?
Or are people just whining about what has always been because internet is internet?

I've said it before, and I will say it again. Not all race cars are the same, not even in Nascar. Nascar is not identical spec racing.

Now, if they include these I will be happy.

PC does, but considering developers sign different contracts it's hard to say that every developer can do it.

I personally don't mind it so long as the liveries are actually different and not just the same generic scheme with a different number plate like T10 has done in the past (I think it was the DTM Audi in FM4 they did that with)

XFinity and Trucks would make me very happy.

I actually never got around to Pcars car list, as unfortunately it seems quite impossible for a normal human being to get a wheel functioning properly with it on the Xbox.
I know GT always did, along with probably every game I ever played.

I just can't help but think it's just something to bitch about because people are pissed T10 brought back a ton of cars, instead of making new ones. (Which would also get them flamed)

I meant the new Camaros, and truck racing of some kind is in too.

People are just having a normal conversation.

The image you posted is of the Xfinity Camaro, the Cup version looks quite a bit different. It's also not racing until next year so I would say it's doubtful that it will appear in FM7 unless they plan on it being DLC.

And these are the "trucks" he's talking about.

I just googled Nascar Camaro, google let me down. :(
(Obviously I don't follow Nascar much)
I would still like to see them, I would say it's totally possible to include them, but they are, as you said, much more likely to be DLC in February or so.

I know what Nascar trucks are, what I don't know is if they are included in the truck racing.

Ah, I didn't think Chevrolet would use the Camaro for the Cup series. I just figured they were going back to the Impala or choosing the Malibu for next year.

Jaguar joined this year and there seems to be interest from more manufacturers for future years. I watched it for the 2016 season but the sport just cannot interest me enough. I'm not a fan of street circuits to begin with and full-out electric motorsports... I just miss that V8 roar way too much. :)

No idea, but I would not be surprised if they keep doing what they have done so far. Reveal most of the expected cars with a few Xbox 360 cars thrown into the mix.

I think that is mostly what we will get indeed. Some people seem to expect the holy grail of motorsport racing history but I think it will be mostly the race cars from FM6 (with probably updated years to the latest 2016/2017 seasons for Formula E, NASCAR, IndyCar and a few GT3/GTE)

Just me being hopeful, and ya those are the trucks I meant.

Jaguar joined this year and there seems to be interest from more manufacturers for future years. I watched it for the 2016 season but the sport just cannot interest me enough. I'm not a fan of street circuits to begin with and full-out electric motorsports... I just miss that V8 roar way too much. :)

I feel that, the street circuits are so narrow that racing becomes quite single file, even worse than F1 at it's worst. I think it's good to include them though.

If they were to expand on NASCAR, I would personally prefer some older ones ('60s-'90s) to complement the current ones.

YES! They've got retro single seaters and sports cars to compliment their modern equivalents, so why not continue the practice with NASCAR (other than the some potential sponsor, team and driver licensing issues)?

PC does, but considering developers sign different contracts it's hard to say that every developer can do it.

But PC also considers "endurance" versions of GT3 cars as a separate entity (the only actual difference is the color of the lights on the front), so there's some filler no matter which game you can think of.
