Yeek, hopefully we get another reveal.
"Forza Edition" cars.
...
So, spotted one genuinely new race car outside of the Stewart truck:
The FLM09s and B09/86s are back, which I guess is good for people into them (I never really bothered in the 360 days). I certainly wouldn't have traded them for the Speed 8, R8, and GT-one LMP900 cars.

I expect:
* mostly the same race cars as in FM6
* Formula E, NASCAR and INDYCAR updated to 2017 season
* 2017 Renault F1 car instead of the Lotus E21 and E23.
* a few race cars from FM4&5 return
* a few truly new race cars (at most a handful, not more)
I hope:
* more recent GT3 cars
* more classic powerful race cars (Can-Am, Group 6, Group 7, Group C, ...)
* Toyota TS050 Hybrid
* more truly new race cars
I fear:
* Nissan GT-R LM (LMP1) removed

That makes me a bit sad as I have really been enjoying doing Touring car races lately and this means less touring cars available.Turn 10 weren't kidding when they said small number of Toyota race cars, the Avensis faced the axe...
There were McLaren and Ferrari race cars announced with the road cars.Uhh just noticed something a bit weird. No Mclarens in the list, although we've seen two in screenshots. Also no 1970s Grand Prix cars nor any 1980s or 1990s. No Ferrari racing cars either, which we've had in screenshots and gameplay. Something very off about this...
They're in the list. They were all in the "old car" reveal a few weeks ago.Uhh just noticed something a bit weird. No Mclarens in the list, although we've seen two in screenshots. Oh they better give us back the multiple trim options for a lot of the cars. That would make a big difference for me, especially if we can get the Spirit R Type-A.*I'm hoping the supposed 'race inspired' visual modifications for the road cars are a substantial enough addition that justifies the relative lack of any new-to-series cars, specifically race cars.
To be honest, they had no where to go but up from FM5 in terms of the car list. lolJust saw the list, not sure what to think about this from first impressions.
I was hoping the Toyota TS050 would make it in but instead the GT-One and TS040 are removed, lol... makes me wonder what exactly that problem between Turn 10 and Toyota really is since Project CARS 2 has both cars, the GT-One even in both its GT1 spec and in LMP900 spec.
I don't understand it...
Will look at the rest more in detail when I'm at home but it's not looking very appealing at the moment. FM6 brought a whole bunch of new race cars compared to FM5, now it seems FM7 almost cuts more than it adds...
I'm ok with this as well, but at the same time, like @SlipZtrEm said, there needs to be some balance at least. I was hoping for new but I'm also ok with the prospect of pure new to Forza DLC. Hopefully thats how they approach it.If this is just T10 adding in as many returning cars as possible so that the DLCs can add truly new cars, then I'm surprisingly okay with this.
