But PC also considers "endurance" versions of GT3 cars as a separate entity (the only actual difference is the color of the lights on the front), so there's some filler no matter which game you can think of.

I think there are more differences than just the lights, I read somewhere the fuel tank is also bigger on the endurance versions compared to the sprint versions. Would be interested to know what else is different.

On the Group C cars in PC there are also the normal cars and the Le Mans variants but there the differences are bigger I think, with the Le Mans cars having a different aero package. In case of the Porsche 962C Longtail vs Shorttail if it will be like in Assetto Corsa then these cars are day and night difference, completely different cockpit dashboard and very different on the handling department.

Check out Scaff UK's video review on YouTube about that AC DLC Porsche pack, very well explained there. I don't have the link now, I'm working on a Sunday... :(

Seeing as T10 censored the SS from GM cars, do you seriously believe they'd even consider including a car that was sponsored by a company called "Southern Pride"? :lol:

Not the color of the lights. Endurance cars have extra lights for night-racing that non-endurance models don't have. This makes them a different model, that's why they're separate.

Standard R8 (plain bumper, no bumper lights):

Endurance R8 (Spa 24H with extra lights):

Ehh Fred is right, for some cars the colour is different as well (on top of the extra set of lights).

I believe Endurance versions run with yellow lights and sprint versions with more white? (To distinguish them better from other classes in Endurance races).

I think all GTE cars have yellow lights as well where the LMP cars have white headlights. I'm really looking forward to multiclass Endurance races where classes have different headlight colours. Will be immersive!

These pictures make a good point about whether or not liveries change a car.
I would buy the black and orange car as DLC.
I would pass on the white and red one.

If I already had the white one, I would still buy the black and orange one as dlc.
Why?
Because black and orange is black and orange. Orange is the new black so it's all black and the new all black is what it is.
(The end is a joke, the rest is not)

For some people, the livery makes the race car. Or breaks it.

Hope tomorrow for the big bang with the race car list :)
Yeah, not gonna lie, I've never been so underhyped for a Forza game so far.

This one is about 95% recycled content, if they don't show something soon I might just wait and see what the DLC will end up being before purchase.

Hopefully it will at least have FM4ish DLC.

Last weeks reveal was pretty disappointing So I hope this weeks makes up for it.

A race car reveal would be sweet.

Hopefully some BTCC Cars will be among the announcement.. I would love to have the Subaru Levorg's in the game :)

ok, ill make the first prediction.......every race car from FM6 will return....with one or two from FH3 coming along.

I bet we see only 5 new cars.

Well there's still around 140 cars to show...111 race cars were in forza 6....29 more...hmmm maybe more new ones hopefully

What I'm expecting from the reveal is 8-10 updated Supercars (I think go with 8, with 4 Holdens, 2 Fords and 2 Nissans), updated 2017 NASCAR Cup Series cars, the full 2016-17 Formula E field and updated 2017 Indycars. The 917LH will be star car of the article and all racecars from FM6 will return. I'm not expecting any other new big shocks really.

Please give me a 488 GT3 or GTE,that's all a guy who usually drives road cars really needs,you know besides Porsches.:)

I expect:
* mostly the same race cars as in FM6
* Formula E, NASCAR and INDYCAR updated to 2017 season
* 2017 Renault F1 car instead of the Lotus E21 and E23.
* a few race cars from FM4&5 return
* a few truly new race cars (at most a handful, not more)

I hope:
* more recent GT3 cars
* more classic powerful race cars (Can-Am, Group 6, Group 7, Group C, ...)
* Toyota TS050 Hybrid
* more truly new race cars

I fear:
* Nissan GT-R LM (LMP1) removed

I believe that's already been spotted somewhere this summer. Could be wrong, though.

With PCARS having the full 2016 lineup, I was wondering if IndyCar would return at all in FM7. I noticed Newgarden is still promoting Forza every once in a while on social media though, so I think the relationship is still there.

About 20 short of 700. Something is missing.

"Forza Edition" cars.

...

So, spotted one genuinely new race car outside of the Stewart truck:
  • 1992 Toyota #99 All American Racers Toyota Eagle Mk III
The FLM09s and B09/86s are back, which I guess is good for people into them (I never really bothered in the 360 days). I certainly wouldn't have traded them for the Speed 8, R8, and GT-one LMP900 cars.
