Pardon my disturbance but am I hearing this correct? Turn 10 made some of their cars sound very wrong in some cars (which both in FM6 and FH3 had a pretty close to real life tone).

One example being the Ferrari Laferrari:
FM7

FM6

FH3

This is how it supposed to sound like

More examples are the Ferrari FXX K, F12 Berlinetta and 488 GTB.
As far as I am concerned these cars sounded pretty good in past Forza games.

Hopefully this means they will get a patch much like the GTR GT500 in the demo.

Does anyone know which tier the Hoonigan Loki is in? I kept scrolling in each tier but couldn't find it. Also, does free play not have weather/time as adjustable options? All the tracks available for free play only seem to be in dry conditions.

There is a drop down on the setup screen for conditions. On the ones where it is present you can choose day, night, rain. Unfortunately I have not saw a time of day and am a bit saddened that some of the tracks seem to be set at a time of day to where the shadows make parts of the track very hard if not impossible to see. I was running a race on Indy earlier and there was one corner where it was so dark you could not see the barrier wall, the track nor even where the infield began. I ended up having to enable the full driving line just to have an idea where to turn.

Forgive my ignorance but I can't find the "Elite" championships I've seen mentionned elsewhere...

I'm glad you guys are having fun with this game. I actually... just got a refund for it. Long story that I wish not to get into. (just check the Forza Forums and you probably know why).

Blew the dust off my Xbone, fired up Forza 6. I love that freaking game. Still enjoying Horizon 3 too.

A lot of sounds are oddly off in the game.I don't have (didn't have) many cars and many of them didn't sound good. The Alfa 155 has a V6/L6 sound instead of a 4-cyl. the 850ci has a recycled sound similar to the old Ferrari 166 mm in Horizon 3, whereas in FM6 it sounded pretty spot on. The Aventador now has a higher pitched version of the Diablo sound instead of the wonderful sound it had in FM6 and Horizon 3.

Everything just seems... off. Rushed. Unfinished... Not what a Forza should be.

You have to beat the Forza Driver's Cup for the first time and then more events will appear under all the championships.

If you look closely, there is an Open Elite event for every championship.

:/ I got pretty excited with the comments of people saying "the sound is even better" but after hearing a bunch of cars (my favorite types) they all sound completely off :banghead: which is a huge dissapointment tbh :guilty:.

Here is hoping they will get patched. :nervous:

Graphics on the other hand looks as impressive as GT Sport and dynamic TOD/Skybox seems to go head to head with GT Sport lighting aswell :sly:.
Shame on the sounds though :indiff:

Horizon only.
Ah, ok, thanks. Now I can't seem to find the 2018 Dodge Demon from the Fate of the Furious pack...

Thanks , and perhaps we can hope for a future update that allows for time changing.

So I was just playing FM7 and apparently I got the Fast and Furious and VIP cars for free, even though I know for a fact that I didn't buy either of them. ._.

I even got the VIP loot crates and I haven't been charged for any of it....this is strange...

Do you own any cars in that division that are reset to stock?

Only rented ones recently, the game auto tunes them if you allow upgrades. I tried the Isetta and it was oddly fast and had 6 gears (I think the fifth was useless already lol).

Ahh, that's what I thought, cheers!

Nice pickup however it happened. I took the Fast and Furious GTX down the quarter mile last night, cue wheel spinning eleven second high MPH passes, what is this a Supra? That's what 2000hp gives you. Went to the airfield eight car mile strip in free race and did the same time as my heavily modded RS6 Avant but was doing nearly 80kph faster at the finish line . Good fun

Looking forward to knocking off work and going home to farm some more XP and keep working on my Audi R8 livery. I wish they would get around to replacing that with the latest R8 LMS as that Grand Am wing just looks plain wrong.

Well I have just had my first go on PC and I'm happy so far with it. I like most other people have noticed the game stutters in the videos before the race but during the race it seem silky smooth so far(1080p, dynamic ultra). Bought a few crates and got a Renault 5 maxi turbo:lol:

If the sounds on some cars really are as bad as they appear to be, what do you think the reason is? T10 have become lazy and don't give a shhh...? Game rushed for the release date? A bit of both? I gotta admit the first negative signs were
1) VIP car pack. Always had new to the series cars in the past and not these ridiculous FE cars. That was pure unadulterated "we don't give a 🤬" stuff.
2) A tiny handful of new to the series cars. I count Alfa 158, Renault R.S. '17, Toyota Baja Truck, Toyota Eagle Mk III and Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Oh, Chevy Fleetline and Dodge Demon. Excluding the updated years for the race cars.

No sign of the Abarth 124, Kia Stinger or Colorado ZR2 we saw in the Car Collection video. Which means that T10 have clearly modelled these cars but are holding them back as Dlc.

They removed the test drive option from the tuning menus. Bummer, but I guess the alternative is Free Play where it technically gives you some reward money.

Also "nice" to see the old paint bug is still present from past games. Any car with a factory stripe automatically loses it if you try to change anything. :banghead:

Yeah I noticed that too, its a bit of a pain in the ass to fiddle around with setting up a free play session instead of being able to test straight from the tuning menu when you've made changes to your car and want to give them a quick try.

Okay now that I'm in the right forum. The Nissan Altima supercar has the wrong wing for this season it has the one from about 2 years ago. Also I think the Australia race suit should be green and gold not blue and red.

Finally had some time with the game last night, just a bit, did the hot hatch races and went trough the menu a bit.... my thoughts, generally i feel its an improvement over FM6, and gladly not all the cars drive like the porsche on the demo :D

Visuals, i like the new menus and the personal space, i love the new sky, and while they didn't make a really big update on the graphics, a lot of little changes gave the game a nice feeling, more immersive, and i love the shaking on the interior camera (not so much on the chase view). what i did not liked is the low LOD of the rival cars (xbox one version) i guess is a prize to pay for having the weather and skies...
Handling, haven't used a lot of cars already, but i liked it so far, not much different than fm6, i have to play more to judge it.

If there wasn't one on day one then we likely won't see an update for a month, at least a significant one.
That being said there are a few game-breaking issues at the moment. One that I found and reported was that searching for Vinyl Groups can crash your game entirely.

I have had it crash while browsing wheels, have had it hang while loading a paint, and seeing drawing issues on some tracks after many laps. The drawing issue will also result in a crash if you continue to play much longer once it appears. Restarting the game sets it back to normal.

Under known issues they mention graphic problems and suggest that PC users lower their settings but I am thinking this is not going to help. The card on the recommended list is a 1050TI 4gb which is what I am running so according to the info release on the game I should be able to run maxxed out at 4k and still get 60fps. I had been running defaults whatever they are. The game looked great and never got my GPU above 55c I have since set everything manually and set some things to med, some to low, some to high and some to off. I can tell a drop in the appearance while playing but have not ran enough laps yet to see if it is any better.

My brother is using a 1060 card and is experiencing the same issues at what seems like the same points in time.

Would be nice to see this patched, also would be nice to see the rivals updated to include all the new classes, not sure it that requires a patch or if it is done on the server side but hope we do not have to wait long to get it.

The most baffling thing baout this error is that the Altima in FM6 had the correct and current wing. So they've had to put time into creating a new wing model, which is wrong, instead of directly porting the FM6 one, which is correct. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. I honestly don't the people that model the cars even care about cars in general.

Not the first time something like this has happened. For example, in FM6 they introduced mistakes on the Porsche 944 and Lamborghini Gallardo SL which weren't there in older Forza Games on Xbox One, and still not reverted back to being accurate. The headlight textures on the Volvo 850 R are now also completely blank in FM7, like you're looking directly into the underlying mesh. There's probably no need to mention how the new game has also managed to mess up the sound of some cars that sounded pretty spot on in FM6.

My only main faults with this game are the small things. Small, but totally illogical things. They're some changes that make absolutely no sense.

And why in the jump from 360 to One did the 1997 E36 M3 Evo lose its clear indicators?!
