Anyone scanned through the car list to work out the best collector points per CR buys yet?

There isn't any, really.

Formula Es are 553.8 credits per collector point (180,000 for 325).
The Ferrari FF is 555.5 credits per collector point (450,000 for 810).
The McLaren F1 GT is 551 credits per collector point (1,350,000 for 2450).

The cars are almost always the best option every time you level up though — seems like the credits are glitched, since I imagine T10 would've wanted the amounts to raise alongside the car discounts.

If you're looking to do the Josef Newgarden rivals event, his gamertag is RaxerTPX2 and he hasn't yet set a time, if the official Forza forums are correct.

I have a feeling that unless he pulls a Rampage Jackson and only sets one rubbish time, I'm in for some disappointment when he finally does. Did 20 laps and I can only barely come in under 1:51.000. :ill:

So I got to try the game last night, and I can't say that the Porsche was hard to drive. It actually handled quite well, and as long as you mind lift-throttle oversteer and weight transfer it becomes a great drive. I did happen to run into one oversteer instance that was uncontrollable, but it was due to weight transfer swinging the rear out over a long sweeper that I happened to lift too much before the turn. Other than that, cars seem more stable than they did in 6. Enjoying the few races I've had so far in the Hot hatch category.
I don't know if you played the demo, they dramatically changed the way the Porsche 911 GT2 '18 handles.
Night and day.

That's what I was wondering. I've been away from home since the 22nd and didn't happen to snag the demo before I left.

Is there any way to make the game resync the vinyl groups and designs with those of the previous games after it has so once already. One of my designs didn't load up because it was locked, so I changed it so it's no longer locked. However now it still won't show in FM7... halp?

I hate to pile on to the problems that Forza has at the moment, but a guy on the Forza Showrooms page on Facebook has found an old bug bear for painters.

With over 700+ cars in game and with DLC in the future, you think they would be room for all the cars to get a design, sadly not as according to the guy the limit on designs is apparently 450.

The wheel felt a lot different in the demo as well. I had a really difficult time with the demo right off. Part of that was adjusting to the FFB wheel after having used a non FFB wheel in 6 but the FFB was very strong in the demo on my wheel, far to strong, it was jerking and clipping and then the car was a bit of a handfull as well. I set the FFB down a bit and did better, tweaked it more and thought the car did not drive all that bad. Not knowing the track was causing more problems than the car I think. On the full game I also drove that car in the little forced race at the begining of career mode but that time all the assists were turned on so I could not tell much other than the FFB was much easier to deal with than in the demo.
I did take the car out on another track that i know and rather enjoyed driving it.

When I raced against him he seemed to be on or near my pace level, and would certainly get there with an hour or so on that event. If you want a good reference try and beat my time :)

I made some new ones in Horizon and had no syncing problems (switched between both games in about 5 minutes or so). Maybe you need to stay in Horizon for a little longer so that the save gets uploaded to the cloud or something.

Being away from home right now, what event is it? I'm about a week behind on everything and I seemed to have missed the information.

Featured Event in Rivals, Chevrolet Indycar at Road America.

It's a Bounty Hunter so I guess if you beat his time when it closes you get a free gift.

Thanks for that. Just added you so I'll use your time as a reference for now. đź‘Ť

I made it a point to switch assists, as I could see immediately this didn't behave like the same nightmare as the demo.

I actually haven't broken the wheel out yet on the full game, but it certainly feels like they gave the rear a lot more grip, and oversteer is much easier to correct.
Basically it drives like a good car instead of an abomination. :)

There are obviously things I need to explore yet....

For whatever reason I couldn't add you but I found your time scrolling through the leaderboard... yeeeeeaaahhh, I can't say I'm too confident that I can shave 2.4 seconds off my current best. Ah well, if nothing else I learned that the Indycars are much, much less twitchy at the limit than they were in Forza 6, so at least that knowledge will help down the road.

Well reading all these threads, and seeing the photos and videos I have given in!

pre ordered the digital version for later.

I was trying to hold back until I played all the other PS4 new releases and I wasn't sure of the demo but all these cars, weather and photo mode opportunities I couldn't resist. :boggled:

Only 67gb is that because I have demo or is there more after this download ?

Look out for some photos soon :nervous:

Looking forward to helping you keep the photomode forum active đź‘Ť :P

I wonder if they'll tweak the homologation/BOP as the game goes on and people find ways to exploit it, in some classes it really levels the playing field making all the cars mostly equal, but in others it doesn't really work yet, you still end up with cars that are way better than the others (the Miura and R5 Turbo come to mind as far as cars I've tried in their respective classes)

The game it self is running much better than the demo on my laptop- i5 7300hq, gtx 1060, 16gb ram. No strange freezes, game is running almost all the time at 60fps.

Top 100 out of around 26,000 drivers currently.

Like the Focus it's sharp and loose in the turns, which helps offset how heavy the car is in stock trim.

Why is that if you disallow car upgrades in free play it resets the division choice? So if you want for example a hot hatch race in stock cars, you just can't. Also, I would still like to be able to choose color and maybe even apply a livery on a rented car, especially since they always come upgraded if you allow upgrades...

Do you own any cars in that division that are reset to stock?
