Another is that when you specifically lock the car selection to a specific division, if you remove upgrades under "Car Restrictions", it then returns it to selecting all the cars in the game rather than all cars in a specific division.

We want to race with cars in certain divisions without the homologation (like the purely original versions). Either they fix that or add it to the race settings under a category called "Homologation: on or off".

Yeah this part is mad frustrating and I would have thought with all these back to back updates and tons of feedback they would have changed it by now, but nope. Smh come on T10 please address these few crucial issues in freeplay already.

This will be me the rest of the month. The September update has been bad as the specialty dealer is glitched for me and there have been constant disconnections to the servers. Fix your issues girl!

I also kinda want that on rental cars, you can choose from official colors and tune their basic set-ups (like in the Free Play modes of Motorsport 2, 3 and 4).

Messages are also broken now with no notifications appearing in the inbox. It started acting up after the August update, but the September update has only made the problem worse.

Seems like T10 has a lot more work to do on this game, they better further delay Forza 8 if they truly want to make us happy. What a great but seriously buggy game

After the recent update, is anyone else having trouble loading cars with custom liveries? In my game it now takes somewhere around 20-25 seconds for the most complex liveries.



I was going to bring it up earlier today. Weird stuff.

Yes, I have noticed that myself. I have nearly 900 cars and most of them custom liveries. When browsing for cars, (by manufacturer), it usually has trouble loading 1 of them for a really long time.

No glitch. There was a poll on Twitter or Facebook or something, and those were the cars that were chosen to be in the specialty dealer for only 100 credits. Not sure if it's going to be an ongoing thing or just a one time good deal.

Not necessarily. That sticker is from a prominent painter in the community — he could've just bought it to support the guy. I was tempted to pick it up as well!

I do not remember them saying that at all. I do remember them saying they are not necessarily abandoning the idea of an Expansion eventually but for now they are just working to make the game better, aka updates.

Yeah I remember that article but it dosent say they're working on a track, they're just looking at options or ideas for a POSSIBLE expansion further down the line besides just updates, could be more cars, expanding the career or a track. They may or may not add a track to this game. As time goes on though hope dwindles...we will see.

I seem to remember Chris Esaki mentioning a track in the works during that same stream.

A new Track would be an awesome addition. And if it was Fujimi Kaido it would be even better. That was one of my absolute favorites from FM4!

I figured out a really easy way of making decent money. Requires no skill. Is not very fun but very easy.

1990s Ferrari F1 car.
Homestead oval.
A LOT of laps.
Unbeatable drivatars. Full grid.
Whichever mod cards you like (preferably 270% or higher).
Steering - super easy (or whatever it is).

Hold accelerator down and just gently tap the left stick to the left every couple of seconds. 50 laps with VIP bonus and 260% mods was around 300kish. Not bad for mind numbingly easy.

Not best $/min or fun or challenging. Just easy. Great for if you wanna read something at the same time.

Yes I'm aware it's very nooby. I don't care.

I think the Daytona oval is easier. It's longer at 2.5 miles, and requires less steering. Also requires no slowing into the turns for almost any class car. Works best with the '69 Chevy Camaro SS Forza Edition (100 % FE bonus) or the ' 92 Ford Escort RS Cosworth FE (100% FE bonus at night). Trust me, I have over 118 Million CR.
