It was mentioned by another poster previously. Unfortunately T10 have only made the hoonigan pack(s) free for those that pre-ordered the digital ultimate version of FM7 at this time.

BTW, what happened to Forzavista? Seems they like they simplified it to the Horizon version. There are no longer voice overs, hardly any info, no more turning on headlights (unless in photo mode), etc.

I think it was their way of "remodeling everything" so they were all "Forzavista-ready", without actually allowing you to see what they did by neutering the mode altogether. Very disappointed in it, tbh.

To me it seems like the result of bad design choices, bugs and developers having other rushed priorities ahead of the September 29th deadline.
 
So they added a new color for the BMW I8. Looks to be Austin Yellow with Gray accents.

Your screenshots also highlights an issue I've brought up a couple of times now. Notice how the thumbnail doesn't reflect the chosen paint or color at purchase. Maybe this bothers me more than it should, but it simply messes with my enjoyment of the virtual garage. I hope Turn 10 can fix this without leaving old thumbnails stuck as they were. :crazy:
 
Has anyone figured out what the Production Run thing means on the specialty dealer cars?

I thought maybe it was the real world numbers, but I'm pretty sure they didn't make 23,000 Skyline GT-R LM's.:lol:

I'm pretty certain it's supposed to specify the rarity of the particular model you've bought, in case you wanted to sell it to the Auction House. There'll be collectors out there who'll be hunting for low number cars from the Specialty Dealer.
 
Free play options for multi class racing lead me to have a race last night with Trucks, Off Road Buggies, Hypercars and Forza GT

Funny looking grid that's for sure. :lol:

Over the weekend we heard loud and clear from Ultimate Edition owners expressing frustration over the VIP membership offer in Forza Motorsport 7. We immediately updated the VIP description in the Windows Store to alleviate any future confusion. As head of the studio, I apologize for any confusion or frustration our players may have experienced.



Going forward, we will continue to ensure that Forza Motorsport 7 VIPs receive the most value for their VIP membership, including new experiences and great content. Starting today we’re sending all Forza Motorsport 7 VIPs three additional Forza Edition cars:



  • 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 Forza Edition
  • 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Forza Edition
  • 2017 Acura NSX Forza Edition


Forza 7 VIPs will be able to download all these cars from the in-game message center and add them to their car collection. Players will not only enjoy an immediate bump to their Car Collection score after adding these Tier 5 Legendary cars to their garages, they’ll also be able to take advantage of the inherent perks that each of these Forza Edition cars offer. In addition to the cars, we’re also sending all Forza 7 VIPs 1 million credits.



Secondly, and even more significantly, we will be changing VIP rewards in Forza Motorsport 7. This new system will work like it did in Forza Motorsport 6, offering a 2X base credit bonus after every race. We’ve already started work on this feature and we will release it as soon as possible. Look for more information on this update as we near the release date.

Good to see some official statement on the situation. The three cars and a million credits is a good step as is the 2x credits bonus to be implemented
 
I was wondering why FE cars and a million credits suddenly appeared in my inbox.

I'm glad so many people didn't stand for this by calling out how BS the VIP pass was and getting refunds. We made Turn 10 listen and now this sort of thing shouldn't happen again. :cheers:
 
Glad to see they are responding to the VIP issue. I must say that part of the reason I bought the ultimate edition was for the double credits from the VIP and of course the car pass and early access. I was a bit disappointed when I saw it was just the limit use mod cards this time but had found a way to make the most of them.

I am both surprised and happy to hear their response. Good deal 👍
 
Oh thank goodness they're finally fixing that issue. The VIP rewards being consumable was one of my only major complaints about FM7.

EDIT: Downloading my gifts now, I'm a happy camper.
 
Turned on 7 after I saw the vip message didn’t have the cars when do we think they’re gonna start arriving?
 
I'm glad that they were willing to admit the new system they tried wasn't desirable and want to make amends about it. I know T10 has usually been pretty good about responding when the community has a unified opinion on something, but since the trend among developers today seems to be "you don't like it, well suck it up buttercup we already got your money", it's refreshing to know they're still listening.

Anyway, time to waste that million credits on prize crates and have the loot-splosion I was expecting on day one! :lol:

Now this is a step in the right direction and from Alan Hartman, so I want to thank everyone who voiced their concerns about this, we CAN effect change guys, don't ever listen to the naysayers nor the "it doesn't bother me" folks.

Edit: In addition, I will leave a proper review for VIP in the store.

The only downside to the x2 credit bonus is that we're going to be swimming in money when the update the game...
 
Would it be possible for a Newswire post to be created for this? I feel like it's a serious enough topic that could actually make or break Forza 7 for some gamers. 👍
 
Oh right, I just remembered the thing I wanted to share. When I was messing around with the restrictions in Free Play mode, I noticed "Monaro, GTO" listed.
 
Does anyone else that uses cockpit view, find yourselves getting distracted by the reflections of the stuff in your car on the windshield? It's worse on some cars than others, but some of the cars I find it distracting. I wish I could turn that off somehow.
