Also because the car may be put behind a challenge that isn't particularly easy or desirable to do*, whereas gathering enough credits to buy it from the specialty dealer is a fairly trivial matter. Getting into the mentality of "I'll just wait for a free one" means you'll be potentially missing out on a lot of fun cars.Higher rarity rating / you wanted to get pretty with a peculiar number / Forzathon prices may not be sellable on the AH?
