Good decision, if you're not sure you shouldn't be pre-ordering, especially if you don't have GP and have to pay full price. For me, I already have GP, have saved up enough MS rewards to get premium, and I'm definitely going to enjoy this, so I'm all ready for early access.

I also play GT7, but for me, it just doesn't click the way a Forza game does, namely the strange viewports available, and the sterile engine sounds (which are only marginally improved over the old vacuum recordings). Plus, my wheel setup is on PC now (have my SX downstairs on an OLED, PC on an ultrawide), and Forza works much better on an ultrawide monitor, plus excited to use my 3d printed button box with it
Gt7 is a major stepup in sound department campared to gt6, its now on par with forza, they are just good on different cars

Judging by Forza Horizon 5's weeks, the next Monthly Forza can be on 11th.
They announce both update for FH5 and something for Motorsport.
Hoping for the final Car List, so i can finaly see what it's missing. (And hoping they say something about FCA cars on Motorsport too)

Where have you seen that?

Everything I've read on the official Xbox site and store and Forza channels, and the official "editions" guide image I posted, say VIP is a Premium Edition bonus. The Race Day Car Pack is also a Premium Edition bonus, but the Xbox store also claims it's in the Deluxe Edition which is contradicted by everything else.

However I've not seen either described as pre-order exclusives anywhere.
Thats what I was led to believe. This screenshot is from the uk store and shows the car pass is the only extra in the Deluxe version. Its not a regional thing is it?

Yeah its certainly better, cockpit view and bumper cam sound good (they use the same audio feed), but, and this is where I think GT messes up, roof cam sound is horrible, loses all the nuance and theatre that cockpit view provides, not to mention the lack of a proper hood cam is highly annoying, especially when cockpit view obstructs so much of the view

No. This is the US store:

But both UK and US stores say this on the Race Day Car Pack, which is the only place that says it:

In all other locations, the RDCP is described as a Premium Edition/Premium Upgrade perk only.

I am curious to see Steve Super GT review of the game since he is someone that played FM7, got tired of it and went to GT, but now he seems willing to come back to Forza
yes, I like his content as well. I think he will be able to give us a good impression on the physics.

Mostly the cars sounds the best in cookpit view, can also sound great in chasecam but some cars can sound a bit muted with has always been an issue in gran turismo,
I dont use cockpit view much unless i play in vr, becouse in vr the view is so much better when you are in the cookpit

Checking Brazilan store and their social media marketing can confirm that they talked nothing about pre-orders
also, not have preorder bonus focusing more on Premiuy/VIP/Ultimate is more traditional of Forza and dont think they will change much on that

Got sidetracked by toxic Reddit again....think I might stir some crap. Found some great pictures of the exact stock model (except for exhaust) for someone to make a gif. I'm not intellectually superior enough to do it. I just know it would end the stupid debate of exactly how accurate the model is. I'm guessing the haters would be terribly saddened by the outcome based on what I am looking at. Haters are also comparing the wrong models...

While you can tell the lancer is from a time before they scanned their cars, it's definitely one of the most accurate of the OG models they still use.

Compared to the R32 skyline it looks incredible!

I think what forza is doing wrong (especially in the trailers) is missing ambient occlusion. Inherently, FM has also always had worse materials and paint. Both of which contribute significantly to this issue. Glass is too clear for older headlights, even if they have the smaller details modelled, they cannot be seen at all. Meanwhile paint seems like a single plasticy layer with no depth. The lancer trailer also lacks proper shadows, whether it's the kerbs or the grandstands, or even the inner wheels of the cars. The grille is too lit up and the paint is straight up wrong.
The cars also don't have dirt on them, making them look like toys instead of actual cars being driven on tracks.

GT7 (and sport) handle this phenomenally. Even though the car LODs are pretty low, the paint and light effects make up for it.
Of course this is much better in the newer cars.

I have to agree on the R32 and the Nissan 300Z. The R34 isn’t perfect either but it isn’t as bad the aforementioned.

He makes some very funny content. His main criticisms of FM7 were obviously the quality of driving and lack of driver ratings and penalty system so that punting and carnage was never penalized. However he's also very harsh on GT Sport/7's own penalty system issues (like how you can nudge someone out of the way and as long as they don't leave the track you don't take any kind of penalty, and how the 5 second slow down penalties are given out rather haphazardly also to those who are punted off the track).

Aside from that, he complained a few times that Forza was hard to be very accurate with, although he was still using a controller then (he's since changed to a wheel and got serious about racing GT7 instead of just enjoying the carnage). <edit> And of course the Forza Glue where cars stick together in weird ways, I hope that's gone!

Sadly this is a pre-release build and I expect the driver ratings to be barely usable (it needs a mass of players to work properly). The penalty system should be a good thing for him to review, along with the driving physics and ability to steer the car very accurately.

Turkey and Iceland Xbox Store lists the Race Day Pack as "included with Deluxe and Premium"

Still doesn't explain why we are getting the Focus in the DLC pack, yet its listed on the launch day car list.

Yes, all versions of the store say that on the RDCP page itself, but that's still the only place its shown. Every store also lists it as not part of the Deluxe Edition on the game versions page.

Here's Iceland:

Again, the Race Day Car Pass page says it's in the Deluxe Edition, literally everything else says it isn't.

So then i anwser it for you the evo 6 has inaccurate grill headlights are of and looks low res, its the same 3d model going back at least to fm4, so recycled x360 model,
no one in the right mind can say it looks good in 2023 game, its just is not at same standard as the new cars they been adding, the hate its got is more than fair for how bad it looks, they would proably not get that if they just dont keep saying built from the ground up like 100 times
The worst part is that its not even the worst model, silvia s15 and skyline r32 is even worse they are a disaster
It's funny that you waited all that time for someone to do it for you, and now are acting like you had a point of reference. You were just looking for something to point fingers at  Good thing @Veketi can actually show it with proof.

Yeah, the Evo is nitpicking. The R32, 300Z, and Lambo Countach are legit complaints. But hey if we only have 5 out of 505 complaints, that's not too shabby.

Maybe becouse i am not spending all my free time watching comments on the internet, truth hurts don’t it😊 this looks surely like reaction from true fanboy, you are allowed to criticize even if you like something,

I'm waiting for the leaks, will there be any? 🤣
Looks like the folks in the preview were all told they could share the start screen, doubt we'll get more than that, can't imagine it's a far reaching preview
