Maybe becouse i am not spending all my free time watching comments on the internet, truth hurts don’t it😊 this looks surely like reaction from true fanboy, you are allowed to criticize even if you like something,

I mean, that's exactly what you're doing though. Either way, I'm not denying it's off and never did. What exactly would hurt anyone about an incorrect model that I've never denied in the first place? What exactly am I a fanboy of? I've clearly stated many times that I've not been fond of Forza at all as of late and I'm going in skeptical with this one and the only reason I'm going to give it a try on launch is because its on Gamepass. You're basically PD damage control in this thread and its funny that you have the gull to call anyone a fanboy.

The whole front end from the lights down is very clearly off. Most obvious being the headlights.

I am sure prefer gran turismo, but that dosen’t mean i hate forza, as matter of fact i have a fair of enjoyment of both, and will pick up the new motorsport, after i have got a proper pc, cant afford one on the moment, but i might picking up forza motorsport maybe after 6-9 months maybe in time when nurburgring arrives, seeing that gt7 is very empty in single player i would not mind have something else to play to switch around things a bit, it can be exciting to have something new and fresh to play,

Rear arch is also a bit weird but it’s not putting me off from trying the game
That and the rear lip is also a bit off, though it can seem very passable at least.

Weird how you're responding so fast now. Either way, never said you hate Forza so not sure why you're trying to make that point. You've already lost all credibility by calling someone a fanboy when you bring up GT every chance you get here. What a change of tone now.

To me, in the Forza side shot the rear end looks stumpy compared to the other two. Also, the comparison really shows how the Forza reflections still look cartoony in some instances.

The race day pack and the VIP pass are exclusive pre-order bonuses

Not quite, they are also separately purchasable, same as they've always been. The "Pre-order" tag on the Microsoft Store is also on each edition of the full game; it's just because the game's not out yet. Each one has its own entry on the Store, but - at least on my end - neither one has a price tag yet. I'm guessing they'll update that the closer we get to release.

Of note is none of those separate DLC/passes/etc. are on Steam yet. Only the game's three editions.

The pricing of individual packs it's up on the Microsoft store yet either. It'll come soon enough.

If you compare to FH5:
1693592452203.png

  • Base Game $60
  • Deluxe Edition $80 (includes Base Game and Car Pass)
  • Premium Edition $100 (includes all Add-ons in the picture above)
  • Cost to buy Premium Edition over Standard Edition $40
Add-ons:
  • Welcome Pack $5
  • Car Pass $30
  • VIP $20
  • Expansion 1 $20
  • Expansion 2 $20
  • Premium Add-ons bundle $50 (includes all above, which would be $95 individually)
So for FH5 it was a complete no-brainer to get premium, due to the two expansions.

I expect that FM2023 will charge similar money relative to the Premium Edition or Premium Add-ons bundle, but remember that the base game is $70 and the Premium Edition is only $30 more.

So what of FM2023:

  • Base Game $70
  • Deluxe Edition $90 (includes Base Game and Car Pass)
  • Premium Edition $100 (includes all Add-ons in the picture below)
  • Cost to buy Premium Edition over Standard Edition $30

So I'd expect the Add-ons bundle to be $10 more than the upgrade, i.e. $40. And I'd expect the individual 4 items on this list (Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Race Day Car Pack and VIP) to be $60-65

So my guess is:
  • Welcome Pack $5
  • Car Pass $30
  • VIP $20
  • Race Day Car Pack $10
  • Totals $65, but can be got for $40 with the Premium Add-ons Bundle

The Kyalami scan doesn't look too far off to me.
Just watched this video and a thing that got to me suddenly is how they are really focusing in the detail of the tracks

They created a sponsor JUST to make sure the Suzuka wheel doesnt look off since they dont maneged put a Coca-Cola logo in the wheel in Suzuka, it shows how much they want make the details look realistic

here is a comparasion between the circle logo they used in suzuka for a few years, i think until 2021/2022, and the fantasy one in new FM (couldnt get one of the wheel itself beacuse it looks that nobody had took a photo before they change to full logo coca-cola back again)

These "micro beats" shouldn't be compared to the big all-star quality Reveal/Launch trailers, production time for those is usually several months whereas these track videos can often be turned around in less than 2 weeks.
I wasn't a fan of how short they were, still hoping there will be longer versions of each, telling us more about the full tracks. Turns out they actually work really well together, would pass as a full trailer to me - even the music switching didn't seem too distracting:

That 'Forza Motorsport VIP Membership' listing says NOT AVAILABLE SEPARATELY for me in their UK store anyway, just says it's included in the £30ish premium add-on or the £90ish full premium bundle and game. If anyone knows more?

Haters be like

"FM4 was the best FM ever made!!! Turn 10 should just remaster it!!!

Turn 10:

"Here is the exact same models from FM4 with better resolutions, color and physics. FM4 had 17 environments at release but we'll give you 20 this time."

Haters:

"But, but, but, the model is from FM1 or FM2. Only 3 more tracks??? No Nords? What do you mean you can't instaneausly scan the full ring? What have you been doing for the past 6 years?

Turn 10:

Actually, we stopped working on FM7 in 2019. At least get your math right, otherwise, go fly a kite. We know we can't convert all of you GT Fanboys but here is a better version of FM4 in the meantime.

Oh they do work well as a combined asset, I like that.

Just updated my spreadsheet.

The usual suspects are slowly being filled in, but there's quite a lot of yellow still there...

For the record, so far not a single VW has been officially announced weirdly, among a few other big brands, including the just-returned Italian brands from FH5.

Also, no sight of any of the following so far: Jeep, GMC, Land Rover and RAM, which might or not indicate those being cut since the off-roader approach was clearly stated to be drastically lowered.

I literally did the assessment on the price of each element in a post 2 above yours. It's in $/€ but I'm sure you can see how I got there.

Yeah that's why I mentioned, just seems odd they're currently selling bundles but not individually yet, but guess that's probably best value. If VIP's half the price of all I'd probably grab all, but might start debating if I really need it or should I just grind it out and save for something else.

Look forward to someone making a video explaining the options, and what the VIP 2x does overall.

  • Welcome Pack is just some free credits and 5 tuned cars available right at the start, copies of standard dealership cars but count as separate cars in your garage completion %.
  • Car Pass is 30 DLC cars, 1 per week. All "new to Forza" so not recycled from FH5.
  • Race Day Car Pack is 8 DLC cars (some interesting ones too).
  • VIP gives 5 Forza Edition cars (unique to VIP holders), plus double credits per race and some visual VIP cosmetics
  • In addition you need the Premium Edition game or Premium Add-on bundle if you want to play 5 days early

Good to see even more rally cars coming
I think they will come as tuner cars not rally cars
I know Subaru and Evo were known more by rally but they also race on the tracks too, Subaru races the N24 around the now-infamous track that will come in spring 2024 to forza motorsport each year (point it before someone else comes point it as well)

They were known as Showroom Rally in FM7, weren't they?
