£20 Iceland Xbox Store, and around £18 Turkey Xbox Store. Decent savings to be had.
With my MS point bonus + the game pass discount, it's only $23 anyway, which seems to come out to around £19? Good to know, but not worth the trouble for $1 at most. And the MS points can't be applied to any other country's store, so I can't get one massive discount. Thank you though :)

Well shoot, that's only 2 hours before it releases in Kiribati. I guess I'll be reading quite a bit in that short gap, assuming everyone publishes their reviews right after.
If you change your location from Uk to New Zealand,i understand you get access 12 hrs earlier. Are you then stuck with that location?

You can change it back whenever. If my experience from FH5 is true for this FM, you won't have your DLC for some hours though.

Kiribati gets it an hour earlier than New Zealand. It's the only country in UTC+14, NZ is UTC+13. Not a huge difference, but I've been excited enough to take it.

The gameplay clips couldn't be more random than they have been. But nice to see them anyway.

I have a few questions in mind;

1. Can you sort cars in garage by latest like in Horizon?
2. Hopefully stock production cars are not shooting flames out of the exhaust like in Horizon?
3. Is there hot lap mode in the game where you can test or rent all the cars?
4. Have the changes to the livery editor seen in Horizon come to this as well?

1. Don't know about that.
2. Nope.
3. Yes.
4. Nothing has been seen yet.

I might give it a quick go then, depends what time i get away from work.

went through the car list again and it seems like there are very few repeats this time around, with the caddy lmdh being repeated 3x. i remember older games having most lmp/gt3/formula e/nascar/indycar cars as repeats with different liveries

I guess Caddy had asked for it, its the only one that i saw repeating at least in racing cars

I wonder if they will bring Formula E by the way

Aw I only just realised Formula E wasn’t on the list, I assumed it would be. I quite enjoyed playing FE races in F6/7. It’s certainly better there than on Project CARS 3. Hopefully they’ll come.

Its not been updated from 22 sept, hopefully a final one will turn up in the next day or so.
usually they update the website around 12pm PDT, i guess they decided post the twitter link before the site update

No drifting at launch yet there's a drift car in the car list...
It WILL have drifting at launch, you can drift in free mode or custom lobbies as much you want
The only thing that wont be possible is count the number of points of that drift

there seems to have a misconception of people confusing drift points with driting altogether

Chris Esaki did mention there would be no drift suspension/diff/tires like in FM7/FH4-5 in the game, which further misconcepts the misconception.

Yeah, I also find this weird. Nobody is saying it's impossible to drift organically - you can't really stop players from doing that, and I don't think that was ever in question. What's always been in question is whether there are going to be mechanics and incentives for drifting. A dedicated drift car seems like a pretty big one to include, but without drift modes or events, it feels like there's only one half of something that's been done before. If there aren't going to be drift modes, then why is this car here?

@nukleabomb But is that multiplayer, all the names look like player gamertags? In almost all the career mode gameplays ive watched theres no data showing time gaps to other cars.I hope its just turned off, nothing more satisfying than seeing your time/gap to the next place getting smaller, and sometimes larger.

It wont be a deal breaker for me if its not in game but I will be pretty miffed if its not, theres not really any reason for it to be omitted

Based on the footage, all the opponents use the same car (McLaren 720S Coupe), with the player being the only exception with the Ferrari 488 Pista.

I'm not sure if this means in the advanced settings of Free Play, you can hand-pick your opponents' cars (similar to custom championships in Assetto Corsa, custom races in GT7, as well as System Link races in FM2).
