That's just ray tracing denoising, happens everywhere in most games that use RT (and a deferred and/or TAA-driven renderer I believe).
I know that, but after Update 4 or 5 its just more noticeable. Its not always happening, only in dark and cloudy weather where the denoiser has difficulty with finer shadows. But they can fix it since there are other games with more RT effects that have far better denoisers and RT resolution.

GT7 does it all over the place when the camera is moving, it's probably just more noticeable in FM because FM has RT effects in normal gameplay.
GT7 has it even in the RT reflections in photomode while rendering for 8 sec. Things like mat or semi glossy objects have tons of shimmering. Ofcourse it will be more noticeable in Forza because its in real time but it was a litte bit better before the update. And i hope they can improve it alongside other effects and graphical features.

The new(or upgraded) engine has potential and all the tech they need. I think that T10 doesn't have the people to fully utilities it, they lack the talent. When PG reveals FH6 that is made with this engine its gonna blow out the water FM (23). FH5 is still the best looking racing game and that was made with the old engine for cross gen platform. While there game is also not perfect, the graphics of the Horizon series is always way ahead of FM or any other racing game.

Iam still scratching my head with why iam so bad. Multiplayer-With project cars 1 and 2 i was nearly always on the podium. Acc iam often midfield or around 5th. But forza iam nearly always in the last 4.

Being able to build whatever car you like now is fantastic. First thing I did was modify my '73 HQ Monaro, swapping the 6.2 litre V8 into it and adding all the tuning parts. I decided not to put it on racing tyres though. Next car I modified was the 2002 Pontiac Trans-Am WS6, but I kept the standard engine this time because I thought it was adequate enough. Not a bad car to drive but choosing the Nurburgring to test it might've been a bad decision. I then bought the '88 Monte Carlo and turned it into a NASCAR with the 5.9 litre "racing" V8. It felt like a bit of a dog despite the upgrades when I took it to Watkins Glen, but I don't really care. The next car I modified was my '21 BMW M4, and that felt like a proper handful with all the upgrades. The standard engine can be modified to produce 700 KW and you notice it with the insane acceleration. The last car I modified last night was the Dodge Neon SRT4, adding all the aero bits, swapping the drivetrain to 4WD and fully upgrading the standard engine. I really want to see what it can do online because I thought the car handled very well on sports tyres. I now feel like I'm playing Forza 4 again which is exactly what I wanted when I bought the game in the first place.

Just a li'l question, is there a limit on ownable cars, designs and tunes? I love to use my home design that I started on FH5...

Uhhh... yeah, I know. I'm almost 40 and, uh... this is my best design yet... Edit: Yes, I'm into cute cats, although my drawing is... well... bad even with an in-game tool.

I think they need to give us the ability to set the number of laps for the tour series races. It might seem like longer races would be more of a chore, but I've come to the conclusion it's the opposite - they're a chore because they're pointless, and they're pointless because they're too short to have any sort of meaningful race. I just completed the A class open series, starting from last on max difficulty. If we ignore the problem of the AIs presenting a logjam of slow moving obstacles for the first lap, once all that had settled down I was in 6th about 6 seconds behind the leader. I was lapping a second a lap faster than the leader. The race was 3 laps, so it was impossible to catch the leader in that time, but if the race had been 10 laps, it could have been an enjoyable race to slowly catch the leader while having to pass the cars in between, with pressure to stay consistent, as 1 second a lap pace advantage still wouldn't give much margin for error when trying to gain 6 seconds in 9 laps with overtakes.

Since they're so short, the open class tours are much more fun (now especially due to all upgrades being available at level1), if you use the same car from C, to all the way to S.

Tried it with the Lynk&Co. 03+, and it was quite good.

Mid online race I'm disconnected from Xbox servers. I can watch YouTube, Netflix on the Xbox, but can't connect to any games or profiles.
Anyone else?

And on the difficulty 5 that I use and no damage or tire wear the races don't give you a lot of credits. Maybe 25k or so. I know increasing difficulty and realism is the dangling carrot for bigger payouts but I'm only at 5.9 mil. There are several race cars I would like to have but I don't want to wipe out my credits because it will take so long to build them back up.

More tracks got added in AI folder
I wonder how they are gonna update the dubai track to the new physics with all the sand and elavation changes. It should look incredible in FM with the dynamic tod and weather. And alot more fun with the new physics. And tracks like Brands Hatch and Sebring are always nice to have.

The updates on the cars list and track list are really good. If they can keep adding with this pace than in 2 years we will have the most incredible car and track list out of any sim (outside modded AC ofc.).

Would be great if its the "real Dubai Autodrome" that comes in the coming months.
