I have a question;
When you do the Builder's Cup/Career, They are lots of races with different kind of Cars,
Do you have to buy those Cars in the Dealership or the Game is proviting it to you.
In GT7 you know you have to buy each Car that you wanna Race...Is it the same with FM also ?

Sounds like you buy the car with credits, then gain XP and car points to upgrade it as you progress through it.

It's easier to have "proper" replay cameras on a circuit. Horizon's constrained by the open world.
FM replays have always been slightly better than Horizon's in the past with fixed trackside cameras. Since FM5 they've been a bit lacking in on screen position and map information compared to Gran Turismo's - hopefully they'll address this with the new game and make Forza replays great again.

Gran Turismo's replay cameras are top tier, there's something about how they set up the motion, focus and positioning that makes them feel like you're watching a real race.

It's partly why Gran Turismo esports events are the only ones I've wanted to watch.

That makes sense,I never thought of it that way.I watched the vid and am looking forward to more info over the next few months, overall cant wait until October.Im currently flitting between FH5 and GT7 at the moment, with the ability to buy engine swaps in its breathed some more life into it for me.So roll on FM8. 👍

Forza replays have looked bad to me since FM3. It's hard to describe, but I think I'm not the only one who is bothered by it. The way the cars move is somehow unnatural and the front wheels don't always match how the car moves. Apparently, the game basically saves the car's positions, angles, speeds, etc. and then repeats them a bit inaccurately in the replay.

Not only is it confirmed that you earn credits and use them to buy cars, it is also confirmed that VIP owners get double credits.

On an unrelated note, I do think it's pretty interesting that the E-Ray is the hero car of the game. It was obviously always going to be a C8 but I was expecting to see the Z06.

its still pretty cryptic.
"Ray tracing's here. It's on-track, and most importantly, it's real-time gameplay. I really want to make that clear. When we say on-track, we don't mean it's only in replays or Photo Mode on-track and [we're] being funny with words - we're not trying to mislead you here.

When you are racing, when you are playing the game, ray tracing is on."

The z06 was added to ams2 a while back. Forza clearly wants an "exclusive" cover car (which the cadillac isn't, because iracing gets it before FM).

I hate how Everything is automatized nowadays

Wharever i go, i only see posts comparing GT vs Forza, no matter i tell them that i dont want see this type of stuff
People dont even take gameplay or take it to a similar track, they just want coult their favorite game...

Thankfully it's just a momentary surge of people who want to express their preference. Then normal service will resume and we can keep talking about the game rather than comparing it to other stuff.

I've been thinking how happy I am that homologation has gone. Racing in single player is still limited to divisions, by the looks of it, but at least you don't have to meet the PI limit. This is exactly what I wanted, so for me personally the CarPG system is pretty much irrelevant and I'm looking forward to racing cars as stock as much as possible. Just like I do in FH4/FH5.

Talking to some GT fans is like trying to talk to a cult member, you praise GT for the presentation, graphics and multiplayer but question the career and they find a way to defend PD. I'll cut T10 some slack for using old car models IF all this time has really been spent on reworking the engine, upgrade systems and AI, otherwise..

Tribalism is inherently human (as is the act of comparing things), but when it comes to consumer product tribalism, it can be annoying.

And it seems that it is more or less limited to online interactions, virtual social spaces. I never see those type of interactions in my day to day life, in the real world. I go online, and it's a verbal diarrhea war. Then I enter real life, and people are just going on about their daily life.

Ah yes, the old "My favourite gigantic multinational is better than yours" game. News flash for those that consider brand loyalty a badge of honour, Sony, Microsoft, Ford, VW, et al, don't give a rats hindquarters about any of you beyond your bank accounts.

They embraced the upgrading style of this game which I am not surprised but I prefer stock vehicle’s.

I still try to buy from a USA company and that is the main reason I own a Xbox

This is my hot take, and I will die on this hill, is that FM6 > FM4 and all other FM games. I get why FM4 is a bit overr... ahem, revered, at this point. It was my first FM game, and I enjoyed it a lot, but I would not turn on my old 360 and pop the disc today. In contrast, I can just play my digital FM6 digital copy in the Series S and enjoy it like it's 2015. 60 fps, instant loading times, drafting that you could actually feel, and better lighting, sound, and music than FM7... and my digital purchases (car pass/VIP) and expansions, which I earned from the championship, are still there.

I will always be convinced that if they had chosen to evolve FM6's formula instead of repeating the 2-year development cycle, we would have had this new FM along the launch of the new consoles.

Side note on this - it would be awesome if PG implemented something like Driver's director mode for FH. It would be a great opportunity for content creation and bring a lot of depth to the game. Less necessary for FM but would still be cool.

You just reminded me of how many memory cards I filled with Driver replays... No joke, that would be awesome.

I can't remember but didn't Project Gotham 4 have a director mode as well? Perhaps it didn't compare well to Driver's but I'm drawing a blank.

While a great idea, I'm not sure how it would help with Horizon's lack of fixed camera viewpoints though unless, say, it enabled you to place or fly camera drones around the pack of cars.

That's exactly what it would do.

Yeah, this is why I’ve always preferred Gran Turismo replays and Forzas live game play. Each franchise to their best feature very well.

Turn 10 needs to change its way of marketing, in every trailer they generate more questions than answers, like the wheel support case, people have a hard time understanding, and they still put the "Roadmap" only in Forza Monthly after almost two hours, and always with that "We'll reveal more soon", maybe we need more direct answers
