It did in FM1-3, but it was away from the actual start/finish line, at the Columbus Circle turn up the road. I think NYC was dropped after 3.I'm pretty sure New York had a pitlane in FM4, or maybe it was in GT4, I can't remember.
After a bit of research you're absolutely right. It's been a while and I tend to mix up FM3 and FM4 features for some reason these days. Still, NYC is in my top 3 "hopefully never to be seen again" tracks alongside Dubai and Rio.I think NYC was dropped after 3.

FM6 Rio, the one that would create absolute chaos in online lobbies. The original one was quite good, indeed.New Rio or OG FM1 Rio? I really liked the original.
Someone who has done testing and working with T10 on multiplayer features has confirmed this. Must be a circuit and must have a pitlane, so point to point is impossible. So far every track in the game has been a circuit and had a pit lane. This is the reason why we lost many track layouts compared to FM7.
Perhaps the need for a circuit and pit lane is too fixed into the game and they don’t want to change it (yet at least)?
There's a lot of people like myself who simply enjoy modifying/tuning cars and driving them in Time Trial just for the sake driving. I race just to earn money to modify cars, and Fujimi Kaido was a fantastic test track in FM4.I don't really mean to specifically be negative but I'm just not sure where Fujimi Kaido fits into the game, or what it really adds other than a quick nostalgia fix. Assuming it's pretty faithful to the original it will be terrible for racing, with career races being 1 lap bash-to-the-front affairs (that are likely time limited anyways), it's likely not viable at all for public hoppers, and there are no drift or track day hoppers (yet?).
I agree with you. Fujimi Kaido needs to be accompanied by fixes, QoL-improvements, new features (e.g. autocross and passing challenges) and changes to the single player career mode (returning FOMO-tours for example). Just adding this track alone will not fix the game.I don't really mean to specifically be negative but I'm just not sure where Fujimi Kaido fits into the game, or what it really adds other than a quick nostalgia fix. It will no doubt make a bunch of people re-download the game for their nostalgia fix, but unless the update also comes with a bunch of fixes and QoL features and stuff, how long until they realize the other problems that made them stop playing still exist and they just uninstall again?

I was actually thinking of this car when I was racing the Ginetta G55 GT4 and the Ginetta G40 Junior in free play races in an efforts to take all my Ginettas to car level 50Someone posted something they shouldn’t have in to official Forza discord
It’s the Forza P3 series poster which features the 2020-2024 Ginetta G61 LT-P3. Specifically in its factory #57 livery
Safe to say this was part of the full factory scan they had done with Ginetta a few years backView attachment 1439946
And in Italian Ginetta could mean Ginetta, which is a diminutive of Gina.Just noticed something with the Manufacturer name Ginetta, I think in French (Probably both EU and CA French) it could mean Ginette which is a person name.
It's... it's just something that came to my mind, dunno why.![]()
Ah, that one is easy.I guess Mercedes and Minerva were already taken. Not sure about Lola, though as it was founded in the same year.
Couple of things you can do. First up, start a lobby in meetup mode. If you're showing online, people can click your name and "join game." If you get a party together, you can invite the party to your game all at once. I think the easiest way is to start an XBox club and have your friends join that, you can invite the club to game and party from the club page. But yeah, it's sort of a pain no matter what.Guys, what's the easiest way to invite several people to a private lobby?
I want to fill a lobby, but I don't want to invite people one by one.
Is it possible to pass the leader to another player?
This thing was insane in FM4. Loved driving the Suzuki flat out up Fujimi and at Tsukuba. Would be cool to get this back in the game as well as Monster's E-Runner.I had almost forgotten that this car used to be present back in FM4:View attachment 1439240
This and/or some other hill climb specials would be a nice addition IMO, now that we're getting Fujimi Kaido back.
The Apollo Intensa Emozione is the pick here. In stock form it glided on Hakone effortlessly but, being stock, it lacked top speed, and I came second (after another IE). I will give it more power for Le Mans.I'm glad that Extreme Speed challenge is over. I do not like Hypercars. I picked the Koensigegg One and it was a tire spinning, understeering nightmare. One of my practice laps at Hakone was over 3 minutes because I couldn't get it back on track after an off at turn 1. Even in 3rd gear it kept spinning out in the grass. But I finished it and didn't really try in the rewards race as I didn't like the Countach either. But now on to Porsche month. I hope it's a really good month.
I'm having trouble with Road Atlanta. I usually run 15 lap races there in higher classes. But I'll get these races that I call "caught in a mosh" races where the lead AI will increase it's lead by about 2 seconds per lap. I'll get to about 4th early in the race but not only do the lead 2 or 3 AI cars just blast off but the cars behind me will start going very slow. At the end of lap 10 or so 1st place is 30-40 seconds ahead of me but I'm 30-40 seconds ahead of the car behind me. Stop the race, exit out all the way back to the main menu, run it again with the same cars and it's more normal. I can win but it's a lot of work which is what I want. Level 6 difficulty. It's very strange and I haven't really seen it at any other track.
Also the last 5 or 6 times I've played the game. I can't quit it. At the end where it asks you if you really want to quit and I click "ok", nothing happens. I'll eventually get the Microsoft popup, "Forza is not responding" and I can close the program or sometimes I don't get that and I end up having to cnrtl+alt+del to get task manager to end the program.
The straight line speed of the Koenigsegg is the only reason I won the series. It would blast past the Apollo and the others at Hakone and elsewhere but when it was corner time the others would just go right past me. So if I could just hold it together reasonably to stay in touch until the straights I had a good chance. But I really hammered the rewind button for this challenge. The Apollo Intensa Emozione is the pick here. And a victory at Le Mans, even with some boo-boos and a 0.5 penalty. As expected, the Koenigsegg One:1 pulls away on the straights, but loses a lot elsewhere. Some mad aerodynamicist genius designed the IE. Victory also at Barcelona.
I take it as a challenge to come with a reasonable build/tune for the Koenig One:1 (with a controller.)The straight line speed of the Koenigsegg is the only reason I won the series. I agree with you about the hypercars, I find it so much more satisfying driving a slower car that handles well where you can really nail a corner (and really nail a lap) as opposed to struggling to keep the car on the track, let alone do a decent lap.I'm glad that Extreme Speed challenge is over.
