welshgtloverI agree with you 100% code_kev..
I don't mind if car damage is in a game or not, but GT has this big slogan "The Real Driving Simulator" Maybe it should read "The Real Driving Simulator, So long as you don't crash".. Having said that the could make 10 GT games, all without damage, I would still buy 'em all!!!
code_kevCome on swift, you don't have to pretend that you don't find smashing things fun!
The Real Driving Simulator, So long as you don't crash....or push the car TOO hard
code_kevSwift, I never suggested daytona style damage in a sim, I ofc meant realistic style damage.
GiancarloYou're not supposed to be crashing anyway...![]()
Maybe it is simply because many people find it hard to believe that driving a smashed up Ferrari #12 Risi Competizione F333SP like a bat out of hell when the entire front end is crumpled up, the spoiler is twisted, the windshield is completely shattered, etc...... to be somewhat unrealistic.welshgtlover...... I will give it that, but the fact that GT4 lacks car damage, how can you say it looks more realistic than Forza?...... Can't figure that one out!
code_kevThe trees look really nice, and the texture quality wizzes on GT4s, but it doesn't look as realistic.
Sorry to be the bringer of bad news cobra, but the nurb isn't the best looking track on GT4 by a LONG LONG LONG way. It's pretty plain.
Well we have opinions, and that's your opinion. I should have said gt4's nurb is the best looking for me, so no craziness would start. Like I have said many times, gt4's nurb looks more realistic than any nurb featured in any racer. To be honest code, forza's nurb looks like crap, the textures suck and the trees suck. Everything looks hazy, what's up with that and there aren't enough trees around. I'm not in the least impressed with forza's nurb, it looks pathetic and weak.code_kevThe trees look really nice, and the texture quality wizzes on GT4s, but it doesn't look as realistic.

Aren't you complementing GT4 in that second sentence
damn those nurb pics of forza make it look like a nfs game for some reason.
Same here.live4speedAs far as this GT4 v Forza debate goes I will be buying both, I still think GT4 will be the beter overall game but Forza has some great features GT4 doesn't have, especially the online mode.
What's the story on this?CAMAROBOY69This is just sick!!!!! 1969 Camaro!![]()

GiancarloThe textures aren't better. They're smoother. That's the whole game's problem.
gomer_pyleJust copied this thread from the Official Xbox UK Magazine forum:
Forza Demo-thread
From what I saw of the exclusive trailer on Gametrailers (Forza Demo-Trailer), I didn't think i was that hot. I own both a PS2 and Xbox (both bought them on launch-day) so I'm not being fanboy-ish.
If you read Barred comments:
- no enviromental mapping
- cars feel like there on ice
- A.I. that has no regard for your car
I know GT4 will be great.
I have no clue what Forza will be about. It could still be a good game, but I have enough "good" games. I only want the best.
code_kevYes I am you trumpet, I'm a GT fan
Umm How can fully 3d trees suck compared to the paper cut outs? MY BRAIN FAILS TO UNDERSTAND THIS LOGIC ARGGG!!!
