Are you behind a firewall and router? If so set up a DMZ host. I had a lot of problems with this game behind a firewall until I DMZ'ed my XBOX. If you need instructions just let me know.
Could you throw up a tutorial for everyone? I've been having problems also and would like to check this out

No locked vinyls, designs, or tunes. It follows the same rules as the auction house. Everything must be original. Which I don't mind. I like seeing what people in the club can come up with themselves.

I don't have 8 hours a day to design a couple stickers for my car. The livery - mine. Tune - mine. Two or three stickers - not mine. Sorry you guys can't play with my Solstice.

What is the cumulative time?
Is that the total time that comes up?
How does it work?

By default there's some long time assigned to every player for every event that is longer than anyone should ever actually achieve. So you start with a large total laptime. When you set hotlaps at the different courses and events, that long time is replaced with your real time, so your cumulative time comes down however much that difference is.

Ok thanks, I sort of thought that would be the case.
I just felt like doing hot laps last night, so I made a custom lobby, put the AI on medium so they wouldn't get in my way, and wasn't too fussed if people joined my room or not.
Good way to make money and XP while just hotlapping :)

Of course if you happen to catch a draft off one of those AI your lap is invalidated. ;)

Which, again works by adding some long amount of time so that its longer than any legitimate attempt at a fast clean lap.

Mainly, you want to set your XBOX ip as static; this can either be done in your router settings (every router is different) or XBOX network configurations. When you have done this you will want to enable DMZ in your router settings which allows the XBOX to connect outside of your firewall (again every router is different so refer to the owners manual for an exact address to your router. However, most router settings are accessible by typing in "/router" into your browser). Choose the IP/MAC associated with your XBOX as the device to be DMZ'ed and apply where applicable. Test your connection and you should be good to go. I suggest only doing this during online play in which you are having trouble connecting; for obvious reasons.

Here is a quick video overview:

Yeah that's alright, by halfway the the first lap I've got 5 seconds on them anyway :)
Am I the only person that likes A,B,C,D classes more than R1,2,3?
Just find it more enjoyable, giving the car an absolute flogging :)

Some are faster with the livery editor than others. 8 hours a day is not the standard amount of time it takes to design a couple of stickers. Whether you share one of your cars with the club or not is only of your concern. I'm sure the rest of us will do just fine.

Still would be nice if you could import designs via photoshop, you know via my Microsoft laptop...... :/
(or for security reasons, have Turn 10 Make-some-****-for-you-whip editor 2.0)

I agree, but if they allowed that it would be easier for idiots to upload inappropriate pictures or copyrighted artwork and photos. Having everyone limited to using the same in-game editor keeps things simpler and easy to control. It sucks for those who wouldn't do things like that in the first place though.

Not allowing locked content to be shared in the garage is an interesting choice by Turn 10. It seems they want to strictly limit who can use and benefit from content purchased from the storefront/auction house.

No you're not! My favorite class is B. I tend to avoid everything above A really. =)

Gonna try to find some time to drive those track day events tonight, haven't done any of those yet!

I personally like FEDC the best, B and A are alright too, not really a fan of S and the R class but will race as necessary.

What does MTC mean under assists in the leaderboards? I thought I had turned everything off.

Did I miss something? Qualifying for what?

I announced this on Tuesday morning. It's about 4 pages back on this thread.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I am happy to announce the plan for weekly (2pm est) Saturday club racing. Every Tuesday I will announce a specific Rivals event which includes traffic to be used for qualifying. This qualifying event will start immediately upon announcement and will end on Fridays at midnight est. This method of qualifying rewards clean and fast drivers. The top 12 in the event will be invited to race, the remaining 4 spots will go to whoever gets in first when I send the full club invite however club leaders are entitled to the 4 provisional spots first. This method of qualifying will both help the club's ranking, give us a method of qualifying, and give us cleaner racing on Saturdays.

We are going to start with just 1 room since I was never able to completely fill a room this past weekend. The most we had was 12 and that only lasted a couple races. 7-8 seemed to be the average. In the future we may open this up to 2 rooms each hosted by a club leader (which would double the numbers above) if we have allot of participants and requests over the next couple weeks for it.

Races on other days and times will still be done at random for those that are not clean or quick enough to get in Saturdays events. I will probably have another round of racing for all club racers at around 6 or 7pm est.

This Weeks Qualifying

Rivals Mode > Track Days > Road America

Restrictions are: Car class A ; Country USA (I have noticed that people have been able to use Acura and Lexus so whatever is allowed to enter will be fine.)

Qualifying starts now!! I will post the winners after the midnight deadline on Friday.

SatansReverence, you are fast as hell. I am not going to lie, but I have tried multiple NSX's setups and still can't get anywhere near you. Managed to do 2.26:9 tho, currently 19th(?) overall. Love rivals mode!

Nice! I need to try it again with a car with more power. The Solstice only has 420, and I feel like the track day events probably benefit most from a car that has excellent speed and braking, because you only get to use so much of the handling potential when you're avoiding cars on every turn.

i just got promoted to club leader at TGAT, so this is gonna be my last post in this thread. I know you can put cars in the club garage if you're the owner, but what if you're just a normal club member/club leader? can you still put cars in? if so, then Terronium-12 needs to put the Prius I sent him in there, because that thing is just stupid-quick. top speed is upwards of 185mph... figure that one out.

My time should be fast enough for top 16. I do not have the patience to attempt that again. What class and tracks are we doing tomorrow? We need to tune. Next week announce the tracks and classes at the time of quals so people can be ready.

And please, don't bring any freaking Lotus Exiges to the race.

Really its top 12 but you get a provisional anyway since you are a club leader.

What's with your beef against the Lotus? You seem to have a hate for them.

We'll start off with A class at the same track and then just move on to whatever from there.

Ya I know. I just don't want people complaining that I get an "auto-in."

No hate for them. They are just the top 10% of A class leader boards. One sided leader board car same as FM3. No need to having one dude out in front that no one can compete with.

Right. But what is move on from there. Again, I need to tune suspension for specific tracks. I will most likely either use my ZR1 or Viper for S class, and probably just my Vantage for A. But I need to know how bumpy the track is to adjust tuning because they are track specific. Those I run at Road America can not be ran at tracks such as Camino, Infineon, etc.
