Ahahahhahah that difference is epic! I thought it was small even before that, something like 0.06s!

I tried to build an ACR and a Ford GT but neither could beat a STOCK Lambo GTR. Just took a bit of tweaking downforce and softening the front end. I think with proper tuning, that car could give so much more!

edit: And I think it was Carlos who said that thing about letting your tires cool down - that is so so so true! At least the Lambo kills it's tires in a single lap! Every time I messed up, I just eased up, switched up to TOP GEAR and coasted the rest of the lap to get the tires under 100 degree celsius. There is such a big difference in grip between hot and optimally heated tires!

Has anyone experimented with tire pressures? I have yet to touch them...

Yes I said it before, and everybody should check their tires every single lap. Click twice on your right stick while racing and it pops up. I began to notice it with the Diablo, the F50 is not that extreme. I am using this while racing too. Yesterday I was racing Wiggs with the NSX-R and that thing is eating it's tires!! I began to corner less hard, while Wiggs was pushing (I think) it. The difference was huge!!

Yup. Two or 3 times during our club racing. I have to remember not to use a mic for the Championship races.

Here is the Championship points system. Please read carefully.

The Championship series will be a 10 week series. 1 qualifying and 1 race event per week exactly the way we have been doing it. This will start Monday night when I announce qualifying.

Qualifying points. ***Note*** -1 point if you use the car that is in first place on the leaderboard. If you get 0 points then you will not be docked a point.

Club Championship prizes

Our Club Champion will get any car they want in the game (This includes any DLC car, just make sure you have that DLC so you can use the car). You will select the car you want after the season is over and it will be upgraded and painted in a custom FP Motorsports Championship livery. In addition you will receive a DLC code for the Alfa preorder bonus car that I haven't used yet from Gamestop. Please if you have the car already please let me know when you win that way I can either just hang on to it or possibly give it to 2nd place.

Congrats....and to think, you don't even use manual w/ clutch! You'd be a hair faster if you ever got the hang of it!

Wow, thanks for sharing your F50 Carlos, really helped me out a lot with that event! Now I just have three or four people before I'm knocking on Forcone's door. Looks like I'm getting the hang of my wheel.

What really helps with that car is to force it into understeer on certain corners. I felt it really helped out a great deal when doing that challenge. Also 900 degree steering helps a lot on that too, get's me more precise!

I bet once I get anywhere close the servers will crash. That happened last night, I beat DeadlyDC and it turned out the servers had crashed while I was in the event, so the time didn't count. Oh well, it looks like I'm two people behind Forcone. I figure there's no way for me to get under 1:16, so I'm going after Forcone at the moment.

What's this CSR Mic problem you guys speak of? I hope it doesn't happen to the Elite.

It's just Fanatec in general I think although i remember it happening on my MS wheel. When using a mic it can get a glitch mid-race where your wheel will go full lock to the right. The only way to fix it is to turn off the wheel and turn it back on, by that time your chance of winning is gone.

I didn't take the time to think it through that thoroughly, but Chris's championship stuff seems quite well though out to me! I'm running ~1:02's. Best I did when I was trying to tune it was 1:01.831. Such a hard car to drive!

Hehehhe... Yeah consistency is the way to go. Even a second a lap doesn't matter that much if it costs you your consistency. I always try make my cars as easy to drive as possible, pretty understeery etc.
