FP Motorsports

Just begun to build one... It is simply impossible to kill the oversteer in this one!! My aggression to skill ratio is way too high for a car this tail happy :D

I'm running ~1:02's. Best I did when I was trying to tune it was 1:01.831. Such a hard car to drive!
Mine needs a lot of work....Forcone just spanked me big-time with his a few minutes ago! :yuck: I'm not even gonna say what my times are right now....but I'll work on a tune for it until I get some respectable times. ;) BTW that Mustang is a beast! How do you like my RSX? ;)

Did you notice how I was all over the place during first two laps? :D I need me some of dem tire heaters! No grip at all with cold tires!!

I was so far behind you in the Corvette race, I couldn't see what was going on with your car! :P I'm gonna scrap my build and start from scratch.

Would be a nice update for the game, an in-lap like in F1 :dopey:

Oh, and not sure if I can make it tomorrow :(

Sick with the flue the past week. Couldn't get out of bed let alone try to qualify for the race tomorrow. Good news is I'm feeling better and built up a nice Vette so if there is room I'm going to be there. Need to play more Forza though. I'm getting too stuck up on MW3.

Now just to sneak into Forcone's garage tonight and cut his brake lines and I may have a chance to win. :mischievous:

Just kidding

Hope you can make it Carlos!

LOL! Hahaha.

I'll do my best to be on time for the race! 👍

You must be very sick to be stuck on MW3  Hope you feel better fast, not a nice way to start the new year!

3pm est? I thought it was 2pm. Whats funny is that its my day off and I would normally be able to race but I may be looking at a car right at that time.:(

Oy, hands off me brake lines! :D The fluid could be potentially dangerous if I slam on the brakes in the first corner and spill all of it in front of you! :P

Guys, please help me! I'm having such a bad car fever, once again!! Glad it's winter time... I even thought of selling my bike for a minute there, but that won't happen! I just wish I had something a bit more....Rear-wheel-driven... :D Bit more power and so forth... My TDi Golf unfortunately has neither!

Carlos and Forcone are obviously the favorites, but watch out for Marmite too! He's putting up clean 1:02's also...I'm only getting 1:04's clean and a few dirty 1:03's. :ouch:

Might not make it today. Internet acting up. Have been disconnected on my Xbox all morning. :(

Im only getting 1:04's too. My fast lap at a 1:03:479.

This car is hard to tune! :banghead: I finally put together something that's getting me in the 1:03's but I don't think that's gonna be good enough....unless some of the faster drivers make some mistakes.

Just you wait.... :D I tried my tune with a controller, super smooth, super stable, but christ it's twitchy with a wheel... Prepare for a HUUUUUUUGE crash to be seen in some part of the race, caused by me and my fishtailing car... :D

Unless i start at the front of the grid, I'll most likely be playing catch-up the whole race. I've been racing your ghost and I'm a little faster on the straight but you're smoother in the corners and pull away from me...that's probably due more to driver skill than the actual car. :) This car is actually fun to drive...just so easy to make a mistake because the back-end is so loose no matter what i try.

Got a fast lap of 1:02.4xx and can stay consistently under 1:03.7 but every now and then I get out of shape. Key for me is to keep it on the track.

I haven't got a clean 1:02 yet but I'm consistently in the 1:03's now....should be an interesting race.

Woopwoop! Looks who's here! :D I made it in time I think, no one is online now =(

I drove a 330d e46 wagon few weeks ago, oh boy that was fun! So much power in low rpm's! And it's rwd!

Oh, I'd love one of them!

Just did a 1:01.74X or something, not very likely to happen in a race though... :D

apologies guys, I can see the invites, but cannot get past accepting, it's some sort of nat issue!!
going to reboot the router and see what happens..

Thanks guys for great racing once again! That race between me and Thatman was super intense! Too bad Carlos got rammed out, he was going like the wind!! :D

I wish I'd put something else than the stock engine under the hood.... :D You people were sooooo much faster than me on the straights!

Ps. There was quite a lot of reckless driving in the post race races once again! It doesn't bother me that much but in my mind people should practice their "late-braking" if they're in front, not if they're coming 10 meters behind! I probably have caused a few crashes myself and apologize for them, but many times when I was driving behind the pack, I saw people trying to pull of maneuvers even Michael Schumacher couldn't get away with! :D

I personally tend to late-brake overtake from the inside quite often, but when I do, I try to keep my line so close to the grass as possible. In some tracks that's really the only way to overtake :/

But really, I don't want to sound like I'm ranting too much, we all make mistakes sometimes! I actually made quite a lot of mistakes in the race.... :(

Yup, I bumped a couple of people myself by accident but I didn't drive thru the people I bumped. I hit some cars coming back onto the track also :guilty: ....sorry but I couldn't avoid whoever it was. It was good fun though. I started dead last in the Corvette race and wrecked on the first lap. :ouch: I think I finished 8th out of 10.

Yeah again I realize I am terribly slow, LOL.

Aside from some members not having/using mics or maybe shy:embarrassed: communications could help with making the races cleaner. I, myself, even though I admit I am a lot slower than majority in the club, am always worried when approaching a corner that I will have someone hit me from behind or when positioning myself for the turn coming up that I will not see the person a tad to my side and cause one or both of us to spin out. Can someone who knows racing explain to me or refer me to help me understand proper racing etiquette? Just never sure if I am the one who is potentially causing mishaps or if others are.

despite the fact that I have no comms, due to a fault on my wheel! I'll try and get vocal for the next sessions. Yes there was a lot of bumping especially that hilly twisty mountain wiggly road place :odd: I must watch the replay on that i did save a few replays.

I apologies if I clipped anyone, and forgive those that clipped me, all in all I enjoyed the racing. it will get better, the more we all practice.

cheers folks

Catch you on the bitstream ..

I have a mic but I unplug it during races because it tends to cause my wheel (Fanatec :ouch:)to glitch or my Xbox to freeze. The Corvette race was pretty clean overall...but a few of us(myself included) were a little wreckless at times during the later races. I apologize for those of you that I did bump....I tried to yield position to those that I did bump and it would be nice if others did the same. :) The Mt. Kaido race was terrible...I was spun out so many times on that one that I just quit.
