I hope you guys can participate in more races than you miss...we need all the members we can get to make the races more competitive and enjoyable. :) I miss quite a few races myself due to work and family conflicting with the race schedule from time to time. :(

I should be able to make the other races. I'd rather play Forza, but school is more important.
 
The first corner giving others gray hair as well? :D Man, it's frustrating to go 0.00001 centimeters over the curb and have that lovely triangle pop up! I still constantly beat my time 0.1-0.2s on the first sector but always end screwing it up somehow. I'm certain that my trusty Datsun could do well under 1:10.5, not sure the driver can though! :P

Yes, that 1st corner is a killer! :banghead: I hit a wall yesterday and couldn't get a clean lap to save my life...it's never a good idea to play videogames after working all night and not getting any rest! I got several 1:11's, but they were all dirty! *edit*-The Hamster has taken the top spot with his Pinto.

I just figured, Like the 510, you take the lowest class car+a bunch of upgrades=very fast on a track that speed is of no concern.

The Aygo is still the leaderboard car for this event, for now, so you shouldn't catch any grief for using the Pinto. :) After scrolling thru the top times, I see that you're the only one in the top few hundred using a Pinto.
 
After I clean the house (I have OCD and am a germaphobe, so don't hate fellas) I will attempt to fall into the top 12.

Pretty excited for the Audi race, my favorite Manufacturer and love AWD:P.

On a side note, anyone notice that they no longer give us ''credits'' when selecting the community tab? Or is it something I missed, just curious.

I got credits the first time I played and haven't received any since.

Your tuning and driving skills are far superior to mine because I built a Pinto and it's not competitive at all for me in this event. I've built a Datsun 510 that's very fast and decent in the corners but I keep screwing up that first corner...dirty 1:10's and 1:11's over and over because I just clip that first corner too much! :banghead:
 
MAN! This can't be this hard! :D ~0.2s difference, and it feels like an hour. constantly 1:11 dead, but no luck!! I won't give up this easily!!

Damn good lap Forcone!!

You won't be passed by me for several hours until I leave work. Even then I think I may need to find another car. I got pretty much everything I could get out of the Lancia. This has been an EPIC battle for first this week.

Lancia looks like it's lacking power on the straights quite badly, in corners it flies though!

It is so so so so hard to put a clean lap together. I can beat this current time in the first sector by ~0.1-0.2s but always mess it up. So frustrating, yet so rewarding!

And yes, EPIC indeed!! :cheers:

And if you mess up in the first corner, just rewind till the finish line. You can start with a clean lap again! :D

What, can you do that?!?!?! I've completely forgotten about the whole rewind-thingy as I've never used it in FM4!!
 
Iv'e had the rewind turned off since day one with FM4. I also may turn it back on. That first corner is sooo hit or miss sometimes.

Me too....I can't believe I've been wasting so much time when I could have been rewinding after I mess up that first corner! :mad: I'm gonna take a short break and give it one more shot...I just want to get a clean 1:11 and I'll be satisfied!
 
I'll actually share the Datsun before going to bed! If someone manages to get it round faster than me, I will personally come to their house and kiss their shoes! :D Hmm... Probably not.
