Has anybody watched the replay yet? What happened at the 1st corner on the 1st lap....I'm wondering who took me out?

Good thing i had the slowest car. I didnt see what caused it but man that was a noisy first turn. A few people flew way off track.

I'm watching it now. Things got pretty bunched up in that first corner. Engineer locked up the brakes trying to slow down. Clearly an accident. Pictures will be coming in a little while.

Oh man was i close to hitting you. I guess more the once to! i totally forgot about that time on the first turn. While braking i hit the dirt and my car started getting unstable, i got nervous and ended up locking my brakes but was able to swerve away from you at the last minute
 
Thanks Chris, really enjoyed the race with Deadly, we put a lot of pressure on each other resulting in a few mistakes from both of us :lol:
 
Damnit, got home, fired up the xbox and joined the party, just a little bit too late, you guys were already started :(

Sorry you missed it Carlos. I was surprised when I saw you get online during the race since I had remembered you said you wouldn't be racing. Looking forward to you racing with us next week.


On another note... I will be announcing next weeks events tomorrow.
 
Sorry I didn't make it guys, went Karting this afternoon for a couple hours. Managed to be 2nd best of the week! Next race I should be there for, however as always, if something comes up, I'll try to announce ahead of time.
 
Oh, now I figured the secret to the speed! Neither is using a front splitter! Interesting....!

If we'll have more races like this, "speedwise", our "season" should be very interesting and competitive!! :cheers:

Yeah, but generally our races take like 15 minutes and add to that 2 warmup races after the "start time" of 2 pm and we have a recipe to be done way after I need to be to work.:D So If we ever did start right at 2 pm I could finish them but, that's not practical to say warmups are at like 1:50pm est and then the race.

AH, yes, you know I tried one with front and rear and then without, but not a mix...

And I was totally messed up from the flying car, thought it was for sure possessed.

But my shoddy win could explain it too.:P
 
Great racing Fezz, I reckon you had 0.5-1.0 seconds per lap on me. But that track seemed so hard to get any rhythm.
As for the 'no front spoiler', I got lucky & found a good tune on the storefont:guilty:. I couldn't believe how fast it was, no weight reduction either!

True! But some plans changed during the day, so that gave me that little 'gap' to race online! I also couldn't stay that long, as you may noticed.. :embarrassed:

For us the race was over :crazy:.. So I think Carlos was sliding the car around to get a feel for it.. and I joined in for a bit.. Then we tried a bit of reverse racing. it's harder than it looks, but you don't need to shift gears :)

You can use any D class car you want to for qualifying.

All qualifying rivals events use the same restrictions of that event.
