I might scrape into the race, but I wont be able to sit about for long as soon as the race is over I really gotta go (the joys of anniversaries eh? :P)

Anyway, managed a quick 30 minute livery for this one too since I've been playing Skyrim all week :P

Hehehhehe, I foresee an epic battle coming! That last corner is such hard to nail perfectly! It's like *WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT, WAIT FOR IT, FLOOR IT!!!!* Then powerslide wildly in to the sand! There will be some frustration! :P

edit: Just did a 1:33.942, won't be able to make that in a race though!

Chris, did you forget to post the qualifying times and update the points? I think I was 11th so no points for me...I need to do well in the race to make up for it. :crazy:

That's about the best I could get together. Mostly doing high 34s and low 35s though.

Hmm, Drunk or no sleep?

I'm not sure I will even be able to make it too the race. Going boating today and I will probably be leaving at around 8:30-9:00am. So I might make it for the main race but that's about it.

edit: And damn, weird to think you can go boating there when it's near mid-winter here! :D

Well, original start time is around 5:00am so I set my alarm for that and well, had to go back to sleep 2 hours and than got up at 7:00am to find the race will probably start at 8:00am lol.

And yea, it's the middle of summer down here. Meant to be 33-35 degrees celcius today.

Oh, quite early! ....33 degrees... NICE! Just told my girlfriend and she asked if we could come over? :D It's not that cold in here, -6 degrees at the moment, but I still prefer summer...

I know it's just for fun....but I'm a competitive guy and I wanna race even if I don't win. :) I already know I'll be missing next week's race because of work, so I look forward to the races I know I can make. Oh well, that's life. Hope you guys have a good race. :cheers:

Believe me, I know the feeling. I have no luck during the club races for some reason. It was lagging like hell for the first half of the race...very distracting having cars fly and jerk all around you...then my sound cut out...I kept missing shifts because I couldn't hear my engine! I wasn't exactly burning up the track but that didn't help...I actually flew off track while trying to get my sound back going, letting ChillDomination pass me. :ouch: this game has really become a pain to play online for me...and I was late for work. :crazy: Thing is, I don't have these problems with any other game. :mad: Oh well, hope you guys had fun.
 
Sounds like a frustrating Race for many of you ...

Equally frustrating here.. If I hadn't screwed up and had the bandwidth.. this would have been my stead

As for next week, bandwidth is available from my 3G modem, but not sufficient to race in a group online.. :grumpy: and the main networks not getting fixed fast.. lots of finger pointing between ISP, telco and network owners (and they are all the subsidiaries of the same company!!!) it still isn't any closer to getting fixed! :mad:

A lot of messed up NSX's alright! I'm still a bit sad for dropping out since this was probably one of the best races I've had (thanks Marmite for a great race for the third, it was fun!!!)

Well I guess this is the point where I thank Chris for his scoring system, as this doesn't affect the overall result in the end. :) At first I thought it was there just because everyone can't make the races always, but now I realize there are more aspects to it as well. All kinds of bugs and crashes and network problems etc. occur in almost every race. Great system!

That's the spirit! :) It would be more fun if we didn't have the network problems, freezes etc. but we do, and until T10 fixes them, what can we do? :confused: Did you join the party with AWSOM3 when he invited you? I usually have more problems when i'm in a party or with a mic plugged into my wheel. This time I didn't join the party or plug my mic in and at least I made it through the race without getting dropped from the lobby...just a thought.

In the last 4 laps my headphones batteries died so on each strait I was setting up my hi-fi system. Took about 2 laps before it was right :)

I was a dissapointed in you dropping out as well. I was catching you and marmite pretty quickly while you guys were fighting for position but than all of a sudden you were gone.

I was lucky to get Marmite in the end but there was a little bit of contact which may or may not have made him miss the breaking point at the second to last corner (not counting the front strait kink :mischievous:).

Anyway, it was a good clean and fun race. I like starting at the back and finishing up the pointy end :)

Oh, and I noticed in your pics Chris that my livery didn't load :(
