A lot of messed up NSX's alright!

Yeah everyone had damage but there were no big wrecks really. Hardly any wipeouts whatsoever. I think mine was the worst at the end of lap one and I basically just wrecked myself. These cars seemed really stable and had good recovering ability.

Glad your happy with the points system.

I usually have more problems when i'm in a party or with a mic plugged into my wheel. This time I didn't join the party or plug my mic in and at least I made it through the race without getting dropped from the lobby...just a thought.

The last 2 races I have had my mic hooked up and in the party and haven't had any problems at all.

*edit*

Oh, and I noticed in your pics Chris that my livery didn't load :(

Yeah I thought maybe you just made another car and didn't get a chance to put your livery on it. That was strange.

I didn't see any loaners out there today. Good to see everyone taking the time to make their own personal car.

I spun myself as well; I was a little heavy-footed early on. I only did 1 practice session, and it showed. Looking forward to next week!

Well, there goes that theory. :boggled: Hopefully T10 is close to a solution because it's very annoying when these things happen in the middle of a race.

I have to say it was a pretty clean race. I think the first two warm up races, helped us all get the crashes out of the way, and get a feel on how the traffic will be in the first half of the lap. There were some incidents here and there, which happens all the time in racing, but nothing near the level, like racing with bunch of random people online.

For me, the 15 laps went by really quick. Almost wished it could have been 20 to 25 laps.

Agreed....everyone did a good job of being patient and passing only when they could do it without wrecking the car they were trying to get around. I think the few off track incidents were the fault of the person that went off...I know mine was. :embarrassed:

Yeah and the first week I didn't have my mic hooked up and I got the glitch.

Looking forward to next week!

Speaking of next week...

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Week 4

Qualifying

Rivals>Top Gear Rivals>Virtual Reality (no LB penalty for this event for obvious reasons)

Saturday's Race 1pm est

Car: 1997 Nissan Skyline GTR V-Spec modded and tuned for B Class (AWD is required.)

Track: Nurburgring GP Short Circuit, 18 laps

Oehhh the GTR! No restrictions? (RWD/AWD (not sure it's possible?))

Ahh I didn't check but AWD is a must. I didn't think this car had a drivetrain swap option.

Just a heads up to everyone

Our championship series will not be allowing drivetrain swaps. I am trying to keep the system I am using going. Not sure if anyone has picked up on it yet...

I'll be at work next weekend at that time, so I need to put my all into getting a good qualifying time. :) ...I need all the points I can get! :P

Damn that thing needs such precise throttle control!! Step 1/10th of an inch over the line and it bites you so hard! :P

 I'm looking forward to qualifying. I have yet to even drive the LFA in FM4. The only game I have is that other game on that other console. ;)

:P I was hoping it wasn't just me. That turn at the top of the hill keeps getting me. You have to wait so long to get on the gas.

Yeah, it feels more planted in GT5.

I guess here is as good a place as any for this....

MY 1000TH POST!!

Wow i'm I the only one? It's funny because to me it doesn't seem like I post an extreme amount or anything. Most of my posts are here. Just an occasional post on other threads here and there.

That LFA is annoying as all hell.

I could do a 1:40 or even a high 1:39 but it's so hard to pull together a perfect lap.

*edit* just pulled a 1:40.6 out of it. Still much more left in the car. Also, turning the clutch off helped with keep it stable. A little bit anyway :)

Well, if you, Forcone, and Chris are catching hell driving the LFA, my chances at putting in a good time are slim to none! :embarrassed:

I might have a go tomorrow night.. see what time I can get.. it's a slippery wee thing :)

Looks like the line fault could be another 3 weeks to get resolved.(Arial telephone posts needs replacing!) So that prob rules me out of racing if I qualified.

in the meantime I did this..

Good luck to you all.

Nice livery!

Anyway, started doing some Skyline practice and am pulling 1:41's fairly consistently with a 1:40.6 fastest.

Is there no other option for ISP's? I'm guessing you can pick from BT and????

That livery is gorgeous, btw.

It's not the ISP!!..

It's the fact that BT is now loads of different companies :/

So BT openreach (wires and trunking)
BT Wholesale (sellers of bulk data/broadband to ISP's)
BT the phone Company.. (they sell you the Bt telephone line you need for the broadband connection)
PlusNet ISP (Broadband from yorkshire! - owned by BT)

Plusnet provide broadband (ADSL) bought from another BT company to Me..but I need to have a BT phone line provided by another BT company who Don't actually own the line! The line is owned by the BT openreach company :banghead: Still with me!!

And this was introduced by the politicians to promote competition, and better value for consumers... how many billing engines etc in that lot am I paying for!

And of course because I live outside a small village with about 800 subscribers.. it's not worth anyone upgrading the infrastructure as theres no economic Return achievable in a sensible time frame.. no competition = charge what you like (a.k.a. Like the light brigade!)

Anyway.. Let me know if you want me to share that livery out on the storefront minus my number and name :)
