Hmmm, I swear I've seen those RX-8 shots somewhere... .

The FTO is really nice Franz, I never would think of using that colour, but it works beautifully. Like Div said, that first shot stands out because the cropping is something rarely seen around here. The second shot is wonderful because it too is a different approach to a normally-typical shot (the panning shot). Having it just a bit off centre, but not crammed in a corner, really makes for a dramatic shot.

Slipztrem: I like the first FTO because of lighting and the colour correction
the car supposed to be light metallic green. With some the colour corection it changed the car colour into silver, that's pretty cool IMO. For the composition, I take notes from Rikaro's "rate your photo by a pro" thread. Some people may find it boring but some people consider it as well composed I have seen many people doing panning shots for long time, but people seem to put the car in dead center, so I have been shifting the camera to one side for most of my panning shots to make them unique. I agree no one did the panning shot in front of that building at Infineon before, and that colour scheme makes a huge difference than the usual shot. On the other hand, I agree my XJ220 shot at round 1 isn't my best because I couldn't get a better shot with limited time, anyhow thanks for your comment and critics 👍

The first shot was used for PD comp, spent solid 2 hours to cleanup because it was full of ****
Someone should try to clean up a Mazda Demio for once, because it is even worse

The pics are good, too. The first one is very clean. 2 hours well spent I'd say!The diffuse glow on the second looks a little odd at first sight, but on closer inspection looks more natural and alot like you'd find in an actual photograph. What I don't like about this one is the way the car cuts though the border.
I quite like the colours and composition in the third, but unfortunately
I'm not really liking the fourth at all

Edit: And, while all people here focus on colors, and saturation and contrast, you focus on composition and sense of speed together with mature colors:tup: Maybe that's why you really stand out from the rest.
