There are names I recognize in random logs for quite some time now. Off the top of my head reiwon32, Randy_Faker. Some of you guys know them why not ask these people first. Then we can leave registration open to the public.

I would definitely recommend reiwon32, but I think he just recently told me he wouldn't be able to grind as much as he used to.

These people should make changes or leave to make room for people willing to be more active for the club. I didn't go look at one race, I looked at at least 4 races in this.

There are others not listed that aren't only running Sarthe but I wouldn't consider booting them for that.

Wow Ch1potle, nice going! :) - Had no idea that there were so many members who might not belong in the club.

Gotta be honest, I havent done a single race-log check myself, I just trusted the members in the club :)

Does it have anything to do with the widget showing "?" next to their drivers? Someone help me out if possible, I just want to make sure I am getting everyone reciprocated.

It just seems like a lot of guys go a LONG time with out being ran by the widget from me.:nervous:

I got booted from PSN around 4 am EST this morning. I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

Having members in "always use" seems to work fine for me. I think everyone in my last race is in the club: https://us.gran-turismo.com/us/gt5/user/IMPORTED_RICEBOY/remoterace/result/d4882484.html

I've gone through other logs and the majority are filled with members. I do need to figure out why my one lap top doesn't run Sarthe, though. The other lap top works fine but my netbook doesn't seem to take the debug code.
 
Wow, you guys are a chatty bunch this afternoon...although with good reason it seems. Very interesting stuff ch1potle.

I know two of those guys have raced me in the last 4 hours (Xochi and Gandhi) and Wakestriker and Twitchy seem to race me a lot as well. That could just mean that I'm on their list though.

I'm also cool with a new club...so whatever you guys want to do. I do think we should let geordie139 in (as he has asked patiently a number of times and I've had him in my friends list since the FBGC1). :)

I checked my logs after the few races I could have before my PS3 froze and it all went haywire, and you weren't in almost any of them. I can off the top of my head say that I've raced WakeStriker, WhiteRuin, Darth_Fromage, MattZR1, and a few at least two times. (I think).
But about only running la Sarthe, I can't change that. If I ever have the widget up and running, I cannot find the debug window on a Mac. I've asked in yonis' thread, but got no Mac-specific answer. If anyone could tell me here, please inform.

I'll say that this is mostly the case during 17-22 GMT+1? Because this is what I meant in ch1potle's case. And there are people who race mine more than some club members, so I return the favor as often as I can. And I think I can say that Qoncip is the one who has raced mine the most. Sorry on my part, I'll have to find a time where you have more than 1 available.
 
it may just be a case of all club members drivers are already in use. there's 16 slots per race, -1 for the host leaves 15. and leaving one driver open means each person has 5 drivers available. do the math and 1 person can use up all the available drivers of 3 people. just the first 10 people on the list can be using all the drivers of every club member. so having lots of non-club members in our logs may just be a case of not having any choice but non-members.
 
Please don't misinterpret my point here guys. I am by no means griping about my bobs not being raced, I just think everyone in the club should be racing more members than non members. Maybe a lot of times my bobs are soaked up but it seems like other members should have one or some free. My widget has only 1 person in "always use" but I don't use 5 of that persons bobs in a race by setting to 3 drivers free. Everyone else is under recipro with 1 free so if you can't race mine I'm probably not racing yours but there are always other members bobs to fill my races. Each member may not be able to race every other members bobs but as long as our focus is other club members we all should get the benefits.

Sorry bout that, friday night i was racing 2-3 of my work mates bob's as they needed some money for the saturday night.

Before that you will see I only race club members... And quite alot I must say.

With any luck the Internet will be connected again tomorrow (after moving house) so I'll be back at it :)

In regards to the new frequent grinders club. I don't see that being a bad thing. We need a way to organise the thread better. It gets messy very quickly!
 
Guys, my notebook died the other day (logic board fried). May take me a week or two to buy a new PC and get up and running again. Whats the policy here? Do I take bobs offline?

This is exactly how imagine it is when I see most of my grid being occupied by non-members. That everyone in the club is being used at that specific time and the widget is compensating by filling it with-members. The widget is a wonderful thing, but there is a lot about it that makes me question what it is doing half the time like not having a full grid.
Anyways, I can vouch that FishyJuice has been running my guys because I saw my logs. I really do think it has something to do with our guys just being busy with other members is all.

For example, the last 3 nights I have tried constantly to cash out my guys, to no avail. Everyone is doing what this club is designed for: keeping Bob busy.

Randy_Faker.. there's a name that tops my list very very frequently. I messaged him to sign up when this club started but never got any response, he just grinds.
 
I don't mind if we start a grind club 3 just make sure all members of 2 get in it first as I'm grinding 8 to 9 hrs a night for u guys I hope your all being included in my races if not please let me know

Btw. I thought that the 'Leave at least 1 driver free' was the right setting, isn't it?

My grinder has been hanging in the middle of the night last two days. Two wasted nights. If it happens again I will take a picture. I have never had this issue since the first version of the widget. I will keep you posted guys thanks.

This is happening to me too. Have to keep babysitting the darn thing, would be easier to spend the time driving the Seasonals and earning more money! (Is that PD's secret plan?:irked:
Often the widget looks like it's Racing, then when I check the PS3 it's sitting there in server mode not doing anything. Also seem to be getting booted off PSN quite regularly and finding 'Event Not Found' on the PS3.:rolleyes:

Thats strange, I have been running my PS3 for 24/7 now for some time. I come by every morning and restart the widget and PS3 then off for my daily stuff. I'll do some more investigation later today.

I dislike being considered inactive considering I am a 24/7 server.


EDIT: I am also getting this "Event not found" and the widget showing I am racing or prepping for a race. I erase my cashe every morning so I am unsure if this may be what is causing a slowdown on my end.

EDIT 2: I keep getting logged out of PSN as well I am noticing. This is 2 days in a row I found myself logged out for no reason while GT5 is on.

I've had pretty much the same experience since 1.10 came..
Running 24/7 but sometimes PSN logs me out and so on. :(

Agree, funny thing is though, I got only 34 PSN (31 are from here) friends in Reciprocate, rest is in Never Use.

I haven't check myself but trust what you see above. :)

Anyone else experienced the same thing?
Also all day today the widget shows that only 3 out of my 6 drivers are being used.

Will try with a reboot of the PS3, logging out/in on gran-turismo.com and the widget.
 
Yeah but I don't like being called out when I am making a huge effort. I just went through my friendlist and cleared everyone but club members and a few people who treated me very well with bobs. (Few as in like 3)

If that doesn't help solve the problem then I don't know what I am doing wrong.
