Yeah haha, I am rebooting PS3, relogging into GT 5 website, clearing cash and setting my conccurent thread lower to try to solve this.

I know this is a bit off-topic, bur what is the best way to keep the airflow to the PS3 optimal, and try to prevent it from overheating?
And I have to say, 1.10 has really screwed things up. Anyone else getting a black screen after finishing the races and you have to reboot and you lost all traces of you ever doing the last race before it "froze"?

Yep, black screen after race, tracks neverending loading etc.. Before 1.10 I didn't have issues with this.

Mine doesn't have any specific airflow, about 1 feet of free space where the fans are.

Been on 24/7 for 7 months now.

You should press ctrl+shift and right click on the trayicon, not the widget.
There you get an option then to enable Debug Mode.

Perhaps ctrl+shift+right click on widget on taskbar, not the grinder. Just an idea.

Dude, I know for a fact you run my guys fairly well and I have seen just how much you have been running: 24/7. I run approx 8-9 hrs only and really appreciate guys like you that do it non-stop. Just remember to give the PS3 a rest sometime, ok?

Sometimes what the logs reflect and what the widget does can't be controlled and it may look like certain members haven't been running those in the club as much. It is something that has concerned me, but I have no control over everyones drivers being used and it picking non-members. I'd rather have a full grid with some members and some non-members to fill it in than a partial grid with just club members. Helping those outside the club that have helped me is kind of an obligation on my part. Besides, I just like hooking others up.👍

This is happening to me too. Have to keep babysitting the darn thing, would be easier to spend the time driving the Seasonals and earning more money! (Is that PD's secret plan?
Often the widget looks like it's Racing, then when I check the PS3 it's sitting there in server mode not doing anything. Also seem to be getting booted off PSN quite regularly and finding 'Event Not Found' on the PS3.

Thats what I've been doing driving the Seasonals making bank! And yes same thing with the widget. But its sometimes like that, maybe bad internet service? It's cool guys happens too all of us. My grinder was perfect 2 days in a row with not one hangup. Never happens during the day either.

Agree, good point about PM's as well.

edit: No B-spec at all (and/or not using any of the clubs drivers) for a week without notice should result in being removed from the list and someone else can join.
But this is already in the rules so I don't know..

Haha I got the original 60GB that came out for like 700 bucks when PS3 debuted. I run the sucker like there is no tom morrow and she hasn't choked up on me yet.


Thanks btw guys for putting in your two cents over the frequency issue. Some people just glance this thread and I would rather not have them glance at inactive and my name in the same list.

I don't like it running when I'm not home, plus I have my router set to self-clean/refresh while I'm work so it'd lose connection if I ran while I was at work. I run overnights and several times during the early evenings, usually 45 hours/week.

Have the widget save your logs so if anyone calls you out, you have the logs to show your usage.

I stop long enough to cash in and check the UCD but otherwise running til it burns. And the occasional child playing a game, maybe a few hours a week.

Unless the rules change, this shouldn't be necessary.

As per the rules, no racing for a week without any notice should result in the member being removed and open a slot for a new member.

Keep mine on all the time. Sometimes have to relocate it, so there's a pause, and I have been doing the odd bit of driving in the game too...!

Just curious, how many of us are running 24/7?

I try to run 50-60 hours a week. Can't manage 24/7 as the ps3 is also our movie machine so i usually grind during the day. I need to get one of those hd media players, that would free up the ps3.

Also, since psn came back, every 3-4 hours either the widget will get stuck at "starting race" or the ps3 gets disconnected "no events found" (but still logged into psn) and have to restart everything. So basically i have to baby sit the grinding. If i leave it alone when i'm out or over night, several hours are wasted with everything being on but no races running so i stopped doing that. Not sure if its my internet, grinder 2.5.2 or gt5 1.10..

Can someone please define this clubs 'frequent grinding' expectations?
