Well with my recent internet issues and still being a week away from a BT engineer visit i just dont know when i'll be able to resume the grind so i'm stepping down for a bit.Feel its only fair to be moved to the waiting list and let someone have my slot who can actually host races.

Big thanks to everyone for the 10000+ races my bobs have entered.Has been fun.

No problem, I'll move you to the waiting list for the time being and await your comeback.

ISP-issues are no fun. 👎

Please, a follow up on how to avoid the game getting stuck during a race, after a race or even when loading a race??

I constantly have to babysit the damn thing because it get's stuck.

It has nothing to do with heating problems since my room i constantly 18-20 celcius (Like it a bit cold) and windows are open the whole time, creating draft through the room.

I run the widget on MAC OSX and the widget is vers. 2.5.2 - I do not suffer from internet problems and up until update 1.10 in GT5 it worked perfect!

Did you try to slow down the delay/co-current threads. Also every time you make changes to you grind list after you hit save, reload the widget every time. Hope that helps, that's all I got.

It's only happened to me 2 or 3 times, but the only issues I've ever had were related to server or connection hiccups. I don't know if it's the PS3 or the GT5 servers. Even if you don't see yourself disconnect from the PSN, it can still cause GT5 to hang.

@Qoncip, also try with clearing the network cache in GT5. Did a lot of improvements for me for loading times/getting stuck at loading La Sarthe and so on.

My PS3 has been locking up on the server stand-by screen from time to time; well, the game has anyway. I can quit the game (middle controller button) and then a restart of the game is usually ok

Same here, but also when I exit an online lobby room. It'll hang up 2-5 minutes before it actually leaves the room. So annoying ><

We would need 5-6 new members at the moment to be able to get out maximize the payouts.

For some reason right now it says I have no drivers shared when I have, and I cannot enter remote race in my GT5. I can't share/unshare drivers too. It gives me an error. Anybody facing that problem?

Never heard of, try with restart of the PS3 and logout/login of gran-turismo.com, Force Reauthentication on the widget as well.

Sounds like a connectivity issue though.

I do as well, all should do, as long as a member is away with a notice.

Just being inactive without telling anyone is not valid (hence we have the "5 days inactive = never use" rule).

I'm going on holiday, this saturday, and getting back Monday 8th August. I'll be back racing as soon as I get back. Just thought it would be a good idea to mention it this time instead of getting branded inactive again.


And guys what do you do when your drivers get to over 20 mill, cause then all the money you are making is worthless??

You have to spend it, or its such a waste. The B-Spec money means a little more to me than my regular credits.
