Ford was losing virtually all of it's time off the slow corners with it's wheelspin. Cars could even drive around the outside on the exit of Luffield.

The 86 is really bad off the line compared to other RWD's.

The kick those RWDs had out turns was immense. Had to make my Ford about twice as wide to hold you off.
If I lined up Luffield right, I could get on the power way before I hit the apex and go full throttle all the way round. I was clocking 80mph as I went onto the kerb.

Personally, the strongest run i've had all season. I felt very comfortable with the car.

I could've finished higher if I made my Skyline wider as well, but I didn't have a reason to hold people off.

And @Furinkazen no need to flash your lights!!!

You sure get held up a lot then.
Or since i'm on a DS3, it'll come on a lot when I go round a corner. That, and it's fun to click when you've been pelted off and need to vent some anger.

It's mostly gear ratios that make that difference (between RWD cars of course)...
I had such a short 1st gear, setup on the brink of wheelspin for the starts, that I barely hit 40mph/65kph before shifting (which meant it was of no use elsewhere)

What I noticed mostly was how different was my line through the hairpin (I had wide entry but mostly a very closed exit), which ended being useful as it meant most cars wouldn't be lined with my draft quickly enough to try and go for the overtake at Brooklands, and even then I could very easily trail brake through that corner which meant I could also brake later than most...

I prefer to use a long first gear that gets me to ~80km/h. Maybe that's why @panoz38 was breezing past me at the start.

So no one complains about the Alfa. Looking like it's a clear half second or more faster round Silverstone?

C'mon guys keep the consistency when complaining :P.
Just had a look at the replay.

I'd say the Alfa will be a force to be reckoned with once more at Brand Hatch, especially with that long straight to Hawthorn.

It doesn't matter. If the Alfa can do a 58.3 then that's it's pace just because your fastest laps were slower in the next two races means nothing. The second best time was a Honda in R3.

The other cars were within tenths of their best each race. Showing that was their limit. The limit of your Alfa was set as a 58.3 which is .5 better than any other car managed.

Just saying here the Alfa looked Scirocco OP.

Brands GP it won't be as fast I understand but up the hill onto the GP section will probably be an easy spot to pass.

We chopped it's Bhp down right Furi? I forgot if we did.

Should be mention that it was in a draft for pretty much the full lap? Makes a massive difference around Silverstone National.

Can't be that OP if i didnt become competitive till we got to the power tracks which shock horror it has the most power

Think we took around 25hp off?
