That's like saying race teams shouldn't setup their cars at all and see who wins...

A cars true pace is when it's setup as good as can be..

It's like specing all the cars using a stock tranny. Some cars can have have bad stock tranny settings that make it look slower than it actually is.

I agree... But what I mean is that some drivers may not have got a car setup yet and therefore if they're really struggling, it could lead to a car having more parts done (if you guys aren't informed). What I mean is, if we keep it at a base level then for now, things will be more level between each car.

I would say most specs are at least very close to complete with a few ones still to be scrutinised

Edit: Also S7 Mini was a good example of looking slower than it was. Around Cape south it was fastest. (It's stock trans is hopeless.)
