I'm determined to shake off the completely undeserved "slow" image. I'm the polar opposite. Look at my TT results.
TT results don't always mean you're fast in everything. I mean I came back to WGTC2 against 1 GT Academy entrant(2 others via FB challenge) & 2 division 1 drivers. Guess what? I won. Mind you I would have thought I'm a second slower than Immortal but when I raced him 3 times I took the fight to him and I actually kept him honest before he pulled away at the end.

So across 2 hours I was 20 seconds behind him. Moleman doesn't look too special in TTs and he's still very fast, even on a DS3. In Indycar we saw ToCA drivers like Smuffy, Joe, Lancer mixing up there in terms of pace.

Interestingly, when I dressed up my 86 in Lada colours, I got 2nd place. In the corresponding WTCC race, Lada managed a 2nd place.

Call your squad "Furi AutoSports Team" and you got a very clever acronym to use for your entry. :sly:

Still pondering my options to race as a Independent to to form a team with someone here.

Sounded cheesy.

Depends whether you care about the TT or not, usually I only do them for the paint chip. Might do 3 laps if you're lucky. Easy to be up the top if you put the effort in, imo.

Think I got 2nd fastest DS3 user in the UK in last GTA but again didn't put the effort in, maybe did 10 laps.

Yup. The guys near the top of TT's generally put quite a bit of time into it. I generally spend very little time on TT's unless I feel the need to improve my time. GT Academy I only did a few laps, I think it was 4 or so.

If I'm doing well, I'll give it an hour or so, if not I'll just get to the top of the friends list (usually straight after a lap or two) and call it quits.

Think the last TT I put some actual effort into was the Nissan VGT one where I did it for about 20-30 min or so. I was actually the fastest Brit for awhile before one of the TRL Brits beat me by a tenth but that was the last time I checked it which was when the KERS thing was discovered.

I think I'm more like one of those part-teams in NASCAR. Only show up to some races, and usually hangs middle to the back of the pack.
