I've used it for months with no problem whatsoever. It's probably advisable not to do anything stupid after you've moved cars to the stockyard or from the stockyard to the garage and you return to the garage, because the game has to save everything first (The stockyard is only loaded on demand and saved when you return back to the garage). So, let it save, and once it's finished, start pressing buttons again. It's pretty likely that people managed to interrupt that saving-process, thereby corrupting the stockyard-save. Early after release it sounded from the reports like the game was not very robust in that aspect.
Nevertheless, I never move the 10+ million cars and the 15th Anniversary editions into it.
