I know, remember me and you drafting in Q for like 5 laps round HSR, you in the VW, me in the Audi.

That R1 got me my only podium in T8... that season's what spoiling my average in ToCA stats (finished inside the top-3 in every other season so far)

Early testing at BH Indy (some with decent setups, some with very, very basic setups, some with apparently bad setups):

4 cars in the 47.1-47.3 range.
2 cars at about 47.7. (those coincidentally were the basic setups)
1 car at 48.0.
1 car at 48.6. Ahem. And that was with a setup from a well-known tuner. No idea how to get 1.5s out of that one.

What's a little scary is that at least 2 cars among the fastest also seemingly have great top speed.
Really.:eek::crazy:

@snowgt message me back your results and i'll forward to the testers. Also an en masse test tomorrow should result in a fair lot of data to be collected. Be Brands Indy and Cape South methinks.

This, I'm aware that some of the cars might need tweaking. So details are needed.

hsv
Honda needs a radical setup. Super soft front/hard rear and no rear camber works decent.

Good god, no. Don't go super soft on the front to give oversteer. Sure you'll get more oversteer but the car will be horrible on entry. I wouldn't go more than 2kgf/mm softer/harder on an end on spring rate. Use the other variables.

I might go 3kgf/mm on a really imbalanced car.

Let me put it this way…the Lexus is in my top 4. :sly:

I've heard either top or bottom track pending.

My ranking:

1. Renault - easy to drive out box.
2. Volvo - not as quick initially but much more settled and sharper.
3. Nissan - Very sharp all around.
4. Alfa - good all around.
5. Mazda - tests shown it to be near the very top but for it isn't suited.
6. Hyundai - feels good but not had that much mileage.
7. Honda. Just a bit too weighty and tricky to drive.
8. Lexus - Just can't get it to work for me.

:dopey:

For me anyway. All were in the low 47s though, with one sneaking into the 46s. No doubt that most of the cars are capable of high 46s.

Bonus points for guessing who's are RWD fan.

I've only tested a few but so far:

1. Hyundai (Better at fast tracks i.e. Monza)
2. Nissan (Very sharp handling but struggles at bigger tracks)
3. Alfa (All-round solid car)
4. Renault (Pretty solid but just not on par with Alfa)
5. Honda (Simply awful)

I should say that this isn't the list in order of lap time, it's my preference. In terms of lap time the list would be slightly different.

Words I wanted to hear ;)

Furi, while checking car specs on OP, as I'm building all the cars to test later, noticed a couple mistakes in the spec sheets...

Alfa: PL value missing (it's 90.5% by the way)
Mazda: Wrong rim size (it only allows standard size)

Also, just giving my opinion... cars using +2 rims look awful...
