WSC X DRIVER BY DRIVER PREVIEW - PART 2 - GT-O:

#2 @raceorama123432 - SHELBY COBRA
O'Rama is the only driver to win the Le Mans Classic in three different types of car. Whether it is Alfa TZ2, a rumbling GT car, or a Ferrari GT-P he has been there done that. A step back into GT-O into his own Shelby Cobra chassis certainly gives him a chance to step out of being a #2 and go for glory by himself. RATING 9/10

#10 @hsv - ALPINE A110

A debutant who is usually quite rapid whatever the series he is in, HSV drives a factory Alpine for this season and whilst a fast driver, a lack of any significant testing mileage is going to count heavily against him. 7/10

#11 @Ettick - CORVETTE C3C

Ettick has proven himself useful in national level touring car series but this is an entirely different ball game. A major positive however is being part of the biggest Corvette Racing effort ever to grace the WSC, so it may just be the right time to join. 7/10

#16 @Roflwaffle - FERRARI 250GTO

There are a number of the aging, but still extremely competitive Ferrari 250GTO chassis in circulation still, and Rofl has been the surprise of GT-O testing, frequently topping the timesheets. However his somewhat aggressive driving style won't work for races, and his one true weakness. 8/10

#20 @smuffyatfcp - SHELBY COBRA

The original Cobra chassis #C001 made it's debut partway through last season and in Smuffys hands was a race winner. One of the most experienced the field, the only real barrier to a title challenge is the cars reliability. 8/10

#24 @Mikey24 - ALPINE A110

Mikey had a far from ideal season, with pace and results extremely lacking, whilst it is hard to gauge just how much of that was his issue, or to do with a cumbersome Toyota GT package, is hard to ascertain. This season should at least be better. 5/10

#34 @ranhammerR34 - TBC

There have been a lot of hinting around the paddock that the popular american may make a couple appearances near the end of the season. Results won't come, and neither will they matter for the Indiana driver, a veteran since the series started, who does this purely for the fun of it 3/10

#35 @R0ssingt0n - ALPINE A110

An ex champion, Ross retired from full time racing as the faithful Mustang he drove became more and more outdated and less competitive. Alpine bought Ross success in the old "GT" class division of WSC, and are preparing a car for the Le Mans Classic end of season. Certainly it wouldn't be a surprise to see Ross in one last battle for class honours. 7/10

#38 @CAMikaze - TBC

It's a sad story this, as the #38 team were looking to make major strides up through the grid following a solid pre-season, before a major garage fire gutted the car and workshops. As a result, if Cami makes it out on track it won't be until much later in the season, and perhaps be a case of "back to square one". 6/10

#56 @Carbonox - CORVETTE C3C

A sometime GT class driver, the penguin steps forward to his first ever full time endurance season. The Corvette chassis is a new one and with it being very much an in-house effort, a strong season is possible. 7/10

#72 @snowgt - SHELBY COBRA

Snows run of 3 GT-O titles came to an end last season with the poor Toyota 2000GT being a car that just wasn't fast. A move to a roadster Shelby gives him a proven race winning car in its second season of development, and just maybe the Austrian will be back on the podium very soon. 8/10

#78 @gokartman78 - PLYMOUTH CUDA
The first privateer Plymouth in WSC, GKM participated in pre season but a budget to go racing is hard to strong together. Expect sporadic appearances. 6/10

#85 @FlyingFox - CORVETTE C3C
Corvette Racings long time faithful customer is now driving a massive assault of yellow Vettes. Fox looked faster than he has ever been last season and very rapid pre season. A shot at the title just might be in the offing. 8/10

#94 @DK - FERRARI 250GTO

Sometime GT class driver DK has an entry for the Ferrari 250GTO. It's a wonderful base package but DK's sporadic appearances and lack of mileage will count against him. 5/10.
