Huh, the more you know! 200 miles is still virtually 0 thought right? :P

I'm just going to have to follow it to see what it sells for.

Well, the odo probably still says 0, so technically yes. :sly:

It's been on the market for around 2 months now.

Despite of being kept in climate-controlled facility, the brake fluid has most likely absorbed some moisture and some hoses must've cracked and some things seized..

I have a sneaking suspicion that McLaren wasn't treated like a Honda in its conservation, and that those kinds of things would have been looked after.

If what you say about the actual mileage vs odo reading is true, how is that legal? We may as well turn back the clock on our own cars. You could completely restore a car 100% with all new OE parts and I'm still fairly sure you couldn't get away with that.

Holy words I can't type because AUP.

That thing must be the only remaining ITR out there, save for the yellow one at the Honda Museum in Torrance, that is still bone stock.

And it's a white '99, which makes it even rarer, because they were only available in that color, that year, in Canada. The US got white in 97 and 98, and then yellow and black from 99 'til 01, with two different shades of black, whereas Canada only got white in 97 and 98, and yellow afterwards. Rarest of the rare in this car's case would be an all original, Canadian market 2001, white with the red seats. I don't know the exact figure, but it's something around 100-125 produced in that specification. Not the awesome JDM/EM Recaro buckets, but rather the US Market ITR seats re-covered in red alcantara, along with the rear bench. Gaudy. :)

Got to find out where that one is located... I so, so badly want that.

Those may have been addressed back in 2010 or any of the previous services. Who knows.

Because its necessary testing done. All these high dollar sports cars on the market today already come with 200-300 miles on the engine.

1954 Hudson Italia, asking $500,000.

1962 Ford Cobra Factory Competition, asking $1,900,000.

1965 Shelby GT350, asking $1,150,000.

This is one of three cars used in the Carroll Shelby School of High Performance Driving (now the Bob Bondurant School - one of the most successful in the world). All three cars used at the school were painstakingly modified by Shelby American and driven by some of the most famous drivers in the world. We know of the location of one of the other three cars. It is displayed at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. This is car #2 of 3, fully documented in the Shelby registry, completely restored to concours condition, and ready for museum display. If you are a curator, or a collector wanting the best of the Shelby collection, this car is a 'Must Have'.

1968 Dodge Charger R/T, asking $1,000,000.
You are looking at 1 of 2 surviving Dodge Charger R/T's used in the 1968 Bullitt Movie. It was used as the assassin's car for all the jumps in San Francisco.

1964 Pontiac Banshee Coupe XP-833, asking $750,000. Very cool.

That's it for now.

No, but I just looked at their website (it looks weird on my school Mac, I'll look at it more when I get home) and they have some expensive stuff on there.

Just pointing out that the Cobra you posted is the same one I posted a while back. :)

Also, that 400 GT is gorgeous.

How do you post links? An unrestored 250 GT Lusso Berlinetta just popped up on my local Craigslist.

I like the mustang but I'm sure there are better classic and modern cars that are at and below that price.

Disagree. :ill:

You don't think there's any better possible car you could get for 1.3M? A Ford Mustang is the pinnacle of cars worth seven figures?

I was disagreeing with the classics part, mainly muscle cars. There are many others that are worth more =P

You don't think he can have his own opinion?
