That awkward yet funny moment you realize that a Russian car can be as large, if not larger, than a similar era American car. And seeing one in America? That's a rare sight alright...

In the meantime, England-based dealership 4 Star Classics has a TWR-tuned Jaguar XJS for sale if you are interested;

I'm not so sure about the way the rims look, but I do like the car itself. The color combination is interesting, if anything. And it being a TWR Jaaag adds to its charm, if you ask me, it's a car with some edge to it.

Also, does a 599 GTO count as a rare sale? No? Well, if it does, I feel that sharing this would be a nice idea;

Mmm, that black color... Not shouty, not over-the-top, just simply badass and fitting for the car's body. Same dealership as the Jaaaag;

That XJS is super 90's rad. I love it.

It is a bit more mid 80's than 90's, as it is a 1985 model, but I see what you mean. It's also a rare car because it's not a XJS that has rusted to oblivion and has no good, clean body panels/chassis to make use of.

Another fun fact; only one owner. A single-owner, TWR-tuned XJS, now that is a golden Fabergé egg for Jaguar enthusiasts...

4 Star Classics always have some nice metal... but you'll definitely need to put your hand deep in your pocket as their prices are top of the market!!

599 GTO's a reasonably rare car. They are also becoming ever more valuable, with prices doubling in the last 12 months. Around £500k (c.$780k) is the going rate in Europe, but I've seen some at >£700k.

Oh absolutely, their cars have the prices to match their condition. But it has to be said; I have yet to see a 4 Star Classics car that was not in mint condition and/or had low mileage and a small owner count. You know what you buy when it comes to those cars, and the pricetag reflects that.

So the 599 GTO's values are rising... Makes sense, as it is a limited edition-type Ferrari and acts as the 599XX's "calmer" brother. Soon they might actually break the million pound mark if depreciation (and market values) is kind enough to allow such a thing to happen.

4 Star Classics also had an old BMW concept car for sale once. It has been sold since, and is no longer featured in the site's list. It was a concept based around the old 1980 6-Series if I am not mistaken, and if anyone remembers the name, feel free to help me out with my doubts...

Depends on how the F12 VS does. It could settle the GTO market out a little bit until a couple years pass & the VS leaves production. The SA Aperta is already in that million dollar ball park, though it is a lot rarer.

I hope whoever buys them doesn't turn them into garage queens.

I'd think that's unlikely as they weren't especially successful in the day, plus there's a race series for historic Super Tourers that's gaining popularity. They are over priced though. £80-90k will get you a proven, race winning Super Tourer.

^ Oh. My. Cajones. Dats the Imperator 108i!!! Thats the closest thing you can get towards a C111!! :drool:

sorry for the double post but clicks link...I LIVE IN DOTHAN:lol:!

Told you so.

A RX-7 with gullwing doors... Just when I thought I had seen everything that could be done to a RX-7, people find new ways to surprise me, haha. But that looks really well-executed, to be honest, is it a factory effort or just something done by a very talented man?

Also, is it wrong for me to say that I would like to buy the Lumina? Yes, it's a relatively tame Chevy from the 1990's, buuut I also dig the Earnhardt-esque paint scheme, that is a cool touch for a car which is considered as being uncool by most.

I'm not too sure. From the advertisement pictures it looks to have featured in a magazine of some sort from back in the day, but I can't actually find anything on the car.

Hmm, I see. Being featured in a Mazda magazine could imply that it's a tuner special of some description, but it also does not rule out the possibility of it being a Mazda-made project. Guess we have to break out the "encyclopedia", haha.

If you're in to Earnhardt you could easily buy a signature edition of the Earnhardt Monte Carlo, same paint scheme and more power.
