It tasted like a lightly-sweetened version of liquid smoke with a slightly salty finish, but a weird chemical aftertaste. So, almost nothing like bacon.

We found a soda shop outside our hotel at a project in Seattle, and each tried some of the other flavors. Most of us tended to agree that they exist only for novelty purposes.

Still, it's hard to find stuff like Ale-81 outside of Kentucky, Cheerwine far away from the Carolinas, and hundreds of other odd flavors apart from their regions. (Moxie is kind of awful...sorry if that steps on a few toes.)
