@ the Sun being 10 ft closer or further..... So true....

Started reading this thread a few weeks ago and i know i am a few years late but the OCD in me couldn't drop this when i saw it. The Earth varies in distance by over 15 BILLION feet each and every year. Moreover there are over 8 billion EARTH SIZED planets alone in our solar system that are also the right distance from their respective stars to support life. Note i say EARTH SIZED. Don't bother mentioning super-earth planets. And i'm not even Atheist, i firmly believe in a creator but come on lets not defend it with stupid.

Asides from your planet/solar system fiasco, indeed, it also happens that the habitable zone of our solar systems extends from just inside of Mars' orbit to just outside of Venus'. Though sustaining life would we very difficult at either of the extremes. These supposed 8 billion earth-like planets are named so because they're believed to have a similar atmospheric composition to our's, but that doesn't guarantee that there's life there.

That's an estimate.

For someone with OCD, you're very bad at capitalisation, and even worse at syntax.

@AOS- was saying "so true" to an image of a guy's head exploding in flames when he climbed up a 10 foot ladder. I'm pretty sure everyone thought the 10 feet notion was funny.
