Remember this?

Well, apparently it looks like a Korean parody news organization (akin to The Onion) published fake names from the Southwest Airlines 737 incident that suffered a nose landing gear failure, poking fun of KTVU and the fake Asiana flight crew names.

So when a Southwest flight experienced some landing gear failure at LaGuardia Airport in New York, Korean “HaHa News” cited the pilots’ names as “Captain Kent Parker Wright” and Co-Captain Wyatt Wooden Workman,” according to Slothed.com. They even listed names of flight instructor “Heywood U. Flye-Moore” and passenger “Macy Lawyers.”

I gotta admit. Those were pretty good.

Woman flips car 10 seconds into driving lesson

The moment a South Korean woman flipped her car less than 10 seconds into her driving lesson has been captured on a dashboard camera.

The video filmed last month shows the woman pull out onto a country road and immediately veer towards the edge of the road at speed.

"Brake, brake, brake, brake," a male voice can be heard shouting before the vehicle drives up an embankment and flip onto its roof.

"Oh my, what do we do?" the woman says as the car is tipping over.

"That's why I told you to press the brakes," the man yells after the windscreen is shattered.

"What were you pressing?

"I'm going to go crazy — get out of the car."

The video was filmed on August 10 and posted online by Namsik Story on Monday, garnering a whopping 107,000 YouTube views in that time.

She doesn't want Islamic laws in Australia, but she's not against Islam as a country...

Ms. Banister, didn't I see her on the stairs...?

Imagine you are building a 47 story apartment building in Spain. The trouble is that the designers forgot to insert elevators for floors 21 to 47. That means that if you want to go any higher than floor 20, you have to heave it on the stairs. Thankfully the designers has some common sense and resigned after the goof was discovered.

This one is from last year, so maybe it's been posted already. It's a short item in Smålandstidningen, a local newspaper in Sweden, and it says:

Piece of paper was on fire in Nässjö
NÄSSJÖ

A PIECE OF PAPER lying on the ground was on fire in central
Nässjö on Friday evening. Someone had ignited the piece of paper
and left it on the ground. The burning paper was found
and extinguished by a person living in a nearby house.

Oops, missed that. I think it belongs here, though, because everyone makes mistakes occasionally, and it's good that people are taking a gun safety course.

No, for sure, I'm not saying it was wrong of you to have posted, just wanted to point it out in case people want to discuss it. :)
